Kervansaray Marmaris

This hotel teams a tucked-away forest setting with a big pool, plenty of sports and a spa.

This contemporary hotel gives you a fantastic pool scene, complete with waterslides. It comes up trumps on the food and entertainment front, too, thanks to its stylish buffet restaurant and live shows.

You’ll find the hotel on a secluded pine-covered hillside. The nearest beach is just two minutes away on the free shuttle bus, and it’s a few minutes on foot to the closest bars and restaurants.

Great holiday - missing it already.

Overall, a fabulous holiday!! This was our first family holiday and our kids are 9 and 7. I was initially a little apprehensive before we got there as wanted to make sure I had made the right choice - when we got there - any doubts I may have had were gone!! We are already looking to go back next year with some friends we met out there. The entertainment team, Shorty, Tom, Jerry, Ronaldo, Ginger - led by Coco were AMAZING and highly engaging. They were kids with the kids and adults with the adults. Do not know where they get their energy from morning through night (literally) they do a great job. I loved the fact that they weren't in your face. If you wanted to be left to relax - they would do exactly that (unlike some places where they bombard you). Daytime entertainment was fun and night entertainment was great. You can tell that these guys and gals enjoy what they do if you enjoy what they do. I would highly highly recommend to have all treatments at the on site "Roza Spa" (please don't be tempted to book 'cheaper' outside as a number of our friends had very bad experiences and ended up booking again at the in house spa). The team here, led by their manager are all very respectful and mindful of you and your overall experience. They offer a personal experience and keep your privacy in mind the whole time. I definitely recommend the first day package, last day pacakage and without a doubt - the kids fun chocolate package (keeping in mind that they use real chocolate and not chocolate scented oils as places outside the hotel). I booked this for both my kids twice in the two weeks we were there. We had a few medical massages and a relaxing massage - definitely check these out at the Roza Spa. The rooms were big, modern and clean. They were very soundproof and omfortable. The cleaning team didnt knock and wake you up first thing in the morning and soon developed an understanding of our family patterns and would wait until left the room to clean it. Most days, we only got a refresh of towels but they made the kids laugh with their skills at making animals out of towels - genuis! We felt secure in the hotel, we didnt have to use the safe and didnt have to have to keep too close an eye on the kids - there is security outside all the time and generally, the staff looked out for everyone and even made a point to learn our names. The catering team were really hardworking and always served us with a smile. The only thing I would say I would like to see improved - is the food - we struggled some days to find good appealing meals for the kids that didnt contain chips. The salad bar wasnt labelled so there was some guess work we had to apply as my husband is allergic to fish. At the snack bar, the pizza would be a long wait and when it came, would be gone - having said this - they did listen and were soon more than happy to change the cycle - resulting in there being sometimes too much pizza. The hotel has a very attentive medic available on site who is very helpful and we would advise to ensur you have medical/travel insurance as the cost may come as a surprise to some. Having said this, we were pleased that my daugther was fixed and was able to enjoy the holiday. The pool was big enough for everyone! I read some reviews about it being too busy prior to booking - there is plenty of space beside the pool - plenty of sundbeds and enough pool space to splash and jump and throw a party! We took a day trip to the beach and then the kids decided that they loved the hotel and pool and didn't want to leave it everyday - so that was promising. I wish we had taken down everyone's names however feel our holiday was made one we will remember thanks to all the staff that work at the hotel. There is a real passion for being there and wanting to go a step further from everyone. Hope the above helps anyone looking to book this hotel - you will have a great time. Vinni and Dee x More

ok, but not the best

The rooms were clean and tidy, the food ok (but limited choice for the kids) the outdoor pool was good and the slides when open were good fun. However the surrounding areas were crazy slippery due to ceramic tiles being used right next to the pool. However the hotel is very open to anyone wandering around off the street and generally the pictures are not upto date. The playground area is overgrown and broken, with glass on the ground and not useable. The inside pool was dirty and run down and the gym tiny. The bars were limited in opening hours and drink choices (with beers def watered down) which meant that the one small bar open all night had massive lines of people waiting - something made worse by the fact that they limited you to two drinks. The entertainment team repeated the same gags and played the same songs over and over. the kids club was rubbish. They let the children wander in and out and the two times my daughter went she said they got left by staff completely on more than one occasion. In the evening they attempted to sell you copied dvds or t shirts - which they saw as there tips - and got progressively annoyed when and if you declined.More

Family holiday

Wasn't worth the money! We stayed in one of the apartments was set out very nice could tell it was good quality things used to do the rooms out however reception area seamed dated. We arrived early hours Tuesday went straight to sleep spent the day at the pool getting up around 10 we missed breakfast and a chance at a sun lounger we had to move odd loungers to our own area so we could be together. Pool was good slides for the kids but was a free for all. The maid cleaned our room in the Tuesday and Saturday, we had to ask for new towels if we wanted them. Air con in rooms was a God save though and very good. Food well we ate out every night breakfast ran out quick and in the end we never bothered getting up for it dinner was also a miss for us and evening meal we didn't bother we looked every night but nothing for kids at any meal. Snack bar at pool was good for kids chips everyday and burgers pizza but always covered in a mix of everything no go for veggies. Free drinks well if you like 1/4 pints 2 per person but to get a drink to quench yourself you needed 3 each! Bottles of water were always available and free which was good. Was to far out 15 leirs taxi to the nearest bit of the resort. Spent more money eating out and on taxis then we wanted. Wouldn't stay here again or recommend it More

Just back from 10 days! What a beautiful holiday! Went with my 4 yr old son friend and her 5 yr old and another friend and her two girls 7/9. Read the reviews before and I do like to moan about everything. But we all had the best time here. The hotel was lovely, rooms lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Weather was beautiful. Nothing at all to complain about would definitely revisit 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞More
