Fantastic holiday highly highly recommended
We travelled to Turkey on the 4th May and stayed at the Kervansaray. Two adults, 9 year old, 2 year old and 4 month old. When we arrived we were instantly impressed with the look of the hotel. The staff were friendly and we had our bags carried to our apartment. We stayed opposite the hotel and had a lovely little 'house' with an upstairs, two balconies, washing machine. It was very very clean and there was everything we needed. There wasnt any tea/coffee making facilities but drinks are available in the hotel. Our room was cleaned daily and we had fresh towels every day. The hotel is lovely. Its very fresh and inviting. Theres a beauty/hair salon. I had a manicure (£7) and a pedicure (£9) my husband a cut throat shave (£5). The staff were very lovely and did a great job. We also visited the on site spa and had a Turkish Bath. Highly recommended!!! It cost £15 and we felt totally refreshed. The pool was very clean and there were plenty of sunbeds. My 9 year old loved the slides (so did i). As we also have a 4month old there was a great spot which was partially shaded. The staff do a great job with entertaining by the poolside. Theres also table tennis and an indoor pool and gym. The day we left toddler rides were being brought on site. The food was FANTASTIC. A massive choice and very tasty. It gave us chance to try different food. The restaurant was very clean and all the food looked and tasted very well cooked. Omelettes and pancakes are cooked outside in front of guests in the morning and other food is cooked outside in the evening. You can have one meal in the a la carte restaurant during your stay. We had a lovely meal and it added a special touch. The pool side bar offered pizza, chips, burgers and salads and was available for most of the day. The drinks were great. Service was slow some evenings and the bar is quite small. They did open another bar some evenings. A kids disco was held every evening which our 2 year old loved. The staff really worked hard. There was also bingo and different entertainment going on through out the evenings. It can get quite lively but has a lovely feel. Theres an on site shop which sells bits and bobs. This was great and the staff again were lovely. It was more expensive than the shops in the town but thats to be expected. We booked through On The Beach. One thing i would do differently if we go again would be to not but trips through the rep. They make you think you have go a great deal until you walk round and find you can get a lot cheaper booking yourself. The wifi in the hotel isnt great but really while on holiday you should be able to forget life outside. Taxis were cheap and Marmaris is really pretty. We will be returning next year. Thank you to all the staff at the Kervansaray.More
Nice Hotel - pity abot the location
I stayed for a week in May 2015 on an all inclusive basis with Thomson holidays. As a single person I was pleased to be allocated a very large double room, which was kitted out very stylishly and kept imaculately clean as was all the hotel The staff were very friendly and helpful so much so that I feel a bit disloyal mentioning negatives, however, there are some aspects that I think other holiday makers should be aware off. First , while the quality of the food was very good, there was not a lot of choice. The same things keep being offered and most of these were largely some sort of vegetarian dishes with not a lot of meat and fish options. Entertainment mainly aimed at kids. And the entertainment staff were a bit too 'jolly' and loud for my taste. Location is very far out of town. They do offer free bus into Marmaris 4 times a day ...but not in evening?? Best is free bus to Icmeler beach cafe free sunbeds and brolleys and very reasonable drink and snacks. Icmeler very upmarket. If I went back I would go to Icmeler seemed a more adult resort with less screaming kids.More

Amazing hotel and great staff.
Great hotel!!!Stayed here with a group of 4 guys. Took a while to find a hotel we could decide on as review are up and done but was very happy when we arrived rooms were amazing and very big the bath room was spotless with a massive shower. The location of the hotel was very good 5mins in a taxi to the beach and the clubbing strip. Only around a 15-20 minute walk. The food was the only bad thing I would say it was fine but nothing special didn't have a grilled BBQ or any kebabs and seeing as we were in Turkey that was very annoying. The pool and hotel facilities were great the Turkish bath was Amazing. The staff were so funny and helpful with everything and everything especially coco the head entertainer. He has to be one of the funniest people I have ever met he made spent time makin everyone laugh and getting everyone on board with hotel entertainment and taking us out at night and looking after everyone he was a credit to the hotel. Would definitely come back to this hotel!!!!More

This was only our 2nd time in Turkey as usually go to Canary Islands, however we are so glad we chose this hotel. Right from check-in, we were not disappointed. Our room was lovely, clean comfortable and a great view from balcony. Towels changed every day and the cleaners made patterns out of our blankets! Now to the entertainment and the team- where do I start! CoCo the manager of the team was just the best! He made us all feel welcome, and was so funny with his different accents especially the Scottish one! He is Just born to do this job. Jerry, Shorty and Ronaldo were all so friendly and didn't push us if we didn't want to join in the games. I went along to Bar Street with my 19 year old daughter and had the best time! The food was good too, plenty of choices and a great snack bar during the day. Overall, we would definitely return to Kervansaray Hotel Marmaris in the future.More
