This place knows how to impress, with a beach, a waterpark and à la carte restaurants among its standout features.
The pool scene here takes in a huge lagoon pool and a waterpark with a section for adults and another for children. On the dining front, there’s a Turkish à la carte and a romantic seafood place.
The hotel’s location is spot on for exploring Side, which is only 5 minutes away by bus. Lots of people prefer to walk there, though – just head out onto the beach and enjoy the 25-minute stroll.

We stayed for one week during October 2016. The hotel was quiet empty during this time. Overall it has been a very positive experience, the whole resort is in very good shape and very clean. It is difficult to find negative points, all was as expected from the pictures seen upfront. The tennis courts (49 courts, 4 inside the resort and 45 close by and connected via shuttle) are very good, even though floodlights would be nice to have. The food was good and providing a certain variety.More
Great hotel, lovely garden, perfect tennis courts, super pool & beach
We came to this resort for a tennis week with our Swiss club with 18 people. Although half of the houses were already closed, the resort was nicely lively but not crowded. The room we had was OK and offered sufficient space where to put our clothing, but too small for a 5* and we found out that we should have asked for a 36 sqm room which would have been much bigger. Basically, everything is nice in the room but there was just 1 chair to sit so both of us couldn't have sat down. Then we had hardly any sun on the balcony and in October it was already cool and humid at night so our wet sports clothes didn't dry, until we asked for an infrared heater - actually because of the cool room temperature at night - and put our wet clothes in front of it to be dried. 3 times out of 7 there was no warm water at 7 a.m. so we had to call reception to fix the problem. The bathrom offered a very slippery and unpractical bath tub to take showers in. The garden, pools and beach were excellent, however, there could have been more deck chairs as most were "reserved" and hardly any were free. The main restaurant was very nice, the personnel was very friendly and efficient, and the food was delicious. The hotel is quite far from the next town so we had to take a taxi each time to go there (2 x 8 EUR per trip).More
Omg! Been here 2 days. This hotel does come with a higher price tag, but..... worth every penny. The attention to detail is second to none. The weather is perfect 28 everyday not a cloud in the sky! It offers everything for a family holiday. Very little British here. Mainly German/Dutch.No tattoos lol! Just bliss. Private beach. So many pools to choose. Food incredible. A jacuzzi bath after a hard day at the pool. Spotlessly clean. An added bonus are the resident cats which are extremely friendly. The also get 5 * treatment also. With their own cat quarter. We love cats so good for us. Will 100% return.More
Our 4th time at Side location but 1st time at the Alibey resort. Rather than one big hotel building, Alibey is set out as several accommodation blocks set within acres of beautiful mature gardens, everything very tastefully done and to a very high standard throughout. Our room was spacious and luxuriously, rather opulently decorated. Queen sized, very comfortable beds and pillows. Bathrooms have a spa bath as well as shower. Full toiletries provided. The reception building is at one end with an impressive childrenâs aquapark plus adults water slides nearby whilst the main pool areas, restaurants and most of the accommodation are down the other end towards the beach. The lovely styled restaurant has seating available either completely inside, on the terraces or in the restaurant garden, all creating a lovely romantic scene when lit up in the evening. As expected, the food was as good as it gets for mass catering. Service impeccable. In fact, staff throughout very friendly and obliging. The only downfall, we found, was the lack of suitable evening entertainment. Thereâs an amphitheatre with sometimes, quite impressive shows but few people watching and the DJ outside music area starts at 11pm when most people are in bed, left a lot to be desired. We were also surprised that, for an all inclusive resort, there was a very limited range of inclusive drinks. Some branded drinks were available but charged. Our overall opinion of Alibey was a beautiful resort with very high standards throughout. Just disappointed about lack of evening entertainment such as a piano/music lounge bar. More
High standards throughout
My wife and myself visted the hotel for a week at the end of September via Thomson. We arrived at the hotel by taxi from the arport at 3 o'clock in the mornng. The reception process was excellent - our bags politely taken, and then ushered to a desk and chairs for the book in process. The check- in clerk was charmng and commanded perfect english. He supplied us with welcome drinks, offered food at the restaurant (declned) and slickly dealt wth the check-in and made us fully aware of the hotel facilties. We were then driven to our rooms in a central accommodation block ( 600 block). At ths point should make t clear that this hotel is low rise, very spread out - with reception at a distance from all accommodation. You need to take the courtesy bus to ever return to recepton. I would advise to choose an accommodation block near to the main buffet restaurant if any choice available. this will cut back on the walking ! The hotel facilities are spaciously set out in a fully stocked large garden area, with a pleasant amble down to the beach area. Rooms - in summary top class. Perfectly clean; comfortable beds; good air con; bath as well as shower in fully fitted out bathroom; well stocked mini bar with drinks and chocolate snacks. Restaurants - really only 2 that we used. The two a la carte resteraunts were not included in the Thomson all in package (could eat if payed extra) - so we kept to the main buffet restaurant for breakfast and evening meals, and the snack bar/cafe by the beach for lunch. Both these were excellent in their own way. The beach bar only opened at 2 o'clock but the lunch snacks were all freshly cooked and served quickly by enthusiastic waiters. Nice views to the adjacent beach area. The main buffet restaurant we also loved a lot. We chose to sit "outside" in a large verandah area as it was warm. The food choice was good, food fairly freshly prepared, and all staff very attentive. Pool area - various pool areas available - we chose a spot to stay shady for the afternoon. Pool perfectly clean, imaginatively laid out and monitored by lifeguards, However I was not happy the only local drnks available foc - so cocktails such as pina colada cost extra. Basicaly they only had local gin and vodka, and so any other spirit based drinks not available. In other Side hotels we have stayed at the full range of spirits were available (albeit local versions) so full range of cocktails also available. WiFi - this was good and complimentary, but not site wide. Connection in your bedroom and around the bar areas but not elsewhere. Entertainment - this was the only aspect that we were not happy with ( as a couple - not a family group !). The problem for us was that there was simply no effective entertainment in the evenings. No lounge with a piano or local band playing for example. They did have a nightly dance show for an hour in an outside amphitheatre. Very dated and not what we or most of the others we spoke to liked or wanted. There was also as so called DJ playing music in an outside bar late in the evening - never spoke a word, and unconnected music tracks played. No difference to piped musac. Although I have highlighted the couple of not so good elements from our perspectve to help others, I must say that on balance this was a lovely holiday at the hotel, and the staff were all really keen to make our stay as good as they could.More
