Ali Bey Resort

This place knows how to impress, with a beach, a waterpark and à la carte restaurants among its standout features.

The pool scene here takes in a huge lagoon pool and a waterpark with a section for adults and another for children. On the dining front, there’s a Turkish à la carte and a romantic seafood place.

The hotel’s location is spot on for exploring Side, which is only 5 minutes away by bus. Lots of people prefer to walk there, though – just head out onto the beach and enjoy the 25-minute stroll.

Fantastic holiday

We stayed here 3 weeks ago and had the most lovely time. Check in was fast and on a one to one basis, no crowds, you also receive Turkish delight on arrival. Our room was amazing very luxurious, just as expected and kept very clean. Mini bar was stocked with soft drinks, beers, water, snickers and peanuts. This was replenished daily. There was disabled access via ramps or lifts throughout the complex. The complex is very big and there can be a quite a lot of walking depending on which room you stay in. Service was excellent most of the time, although the odd waiter or bar man did not seem to like British people so we got ignored, but on the whole no problems. Special shout to Aykut who served us at the beach restaurant. The waiter around the pool was so attentive (sorry cannot remember his name) he brought us drinks without us even having to ask. Pool area exceptionally clean and ashtrays everywhere for smokers which I found a really good idea. No fighting over sunbeds at any time as there was so much space. We came down one morning around 1030 and still had plenty of choice. Patisserie had lots to offer and we visited daily. You could find something to eat from 0700 to 0100. We did not use the water park area but this looked fun and again was exceptionally clean. Turkish A la Carte was lovely although we were the only ones in there on our particular evening (we felt they should limit the nights they open so that more people would book the same day giving the place some atmosphere). There were 8 courses and we were so full by the end of it. excellent service but this could have been because they had no one else to serve. Main restaurant could get busy but as the week went on it became quieter, this could be due to end of season. Great variety of food, they had a baby section as well as gluten free. Weather amazing and VERY hot, around 30 degrees every day and 25 In the evening. We did not really watch the entertainment but what we did see we did not like although on the last night they had a Cuban night which was fun. We will definitely be returning in the future as this was a hotel for all, whether you were a couple, family or just on your own. This is a Thomson A la Carte hotel and it really showed in the cleanliness and food.More

Amazing Honeymoon! 5 Star!

We booked to stop at the Ali Bey Resort for our honeymoon. We hadn't been on a summer holiday for a good 6 years so wanted to treat ourselves on this special occasion. Every part of the holiday was amazing. The staff where so friendly and would do anything for you. The food was so good, think we over ate on every meal as there was just so much to try. Some people on trip advisor complain that branded drinks where not included in the all inclusive package the resort offered but to be fair this didn't matter, they had a great range of drinks available which where not named brands, the cocktails where lovely. We spent every day at a different pool as there was just so much choice and places to go. The bedrooms where spacious and well kept. It was red hot when we visited in September so each day it was lovely to go back to the room just for the air con. The beach was superb and far better then any of the other beaches we walked past. We also rented one of the beach huts since it was out honeymoon, it cost 50 euros but you had someone coming every hour to see if you wanted anything like drinks, ice cream or even food from the snack menu. They also filled up your fridge in the hut with drinks. It was a lovely experience and I would recommend anyone to do it if they are celebrating or want to do something different. We also had a massage which was great, nice and relaxing and a nice touch to the holiday. Overall I was so impressed with this resort and the whole experience, I would recommend anyone to stop here. We will definitely be returning.More

Fantastic family holiday

We stayed at AliBey at October half term 2015 and had a great time. The hotel was lovely and the resort was well laid out. Rooms were great - spacious and clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Entertainment team were fun and the shows were great. The food was excellent with a great selection for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel was quiet when we went as it was the end of the season but this was to our advantage really. The staff were still very keen to ensure everyone had a great time and we didn't feel like they were waiting for us to go. The location is great as it's right on the coast and has its own private beach. It was a 30 minute walk along the beach into Side where there were Roman ruins to visit. We had a wonderful time and would love to go back again.More

Long Hot summer

Had a wonderful stay at the Ali-Bey in August. Travelled with husband and two children (16 &14). We stayed in one of the older rooms but it was clean. Food was plentiful and lovely, especially the desserts. Water park was fab and greatly enjoyed by us all.. Pools all clean and maintained excellently, one silent pool which was wonderful if you wanted the peace and quiet (no kids under 16). The gardens are stunning and a joy to walk around in (you may get lost when you arrive). my son who is very sporty played football every afternoon and made loads of friends, only downside was there wasnt many british people there, it was made up of russians, germans and turkish. No real bad points to say.More
