This place knows how to impress, with a beach, a waterpark and à la carte restaurants among its standout features.
The pool scene here takes in a huge lagoon pool and a waterpark with a section for adults and another for children. On the dining front, there’s a Turkish à la carte and a romantic seafood place.
The hotel’s location is spot on for exploring Side, which is only 5 minutes away by bus. Lots of people prefer to walk there, though – just head out onto the beach and enjoy the 25-minute stroll.

FIVE STAR LUXURY
Just returned from a weeks holiday (10-10 to 17-10) at Alibey Resort, Side. We had a fantastic holiday in super 5 star luxury. Here are just a few of our positive thoughts as we don't want the review to be too long and not repeating what as already been said by others as we probably would just agree with them. On arrival a young lady and porter was waiting for us to alight from the taxi, the porter took our cases to a golf buggy and the young lady shown us to a small reception desk. Check in was quick and smooth with no waiting in queues but we did indulge in a welcoming cocktail and a plate of Turkish delight. We were then transported by the golf buggy, an experience in itself, to our room. The room was as luxurious as the whole resort. It came with king size bed, which we just sank into every night, and even a pillow menu. Even before we had time to start unpacking a waiter had rung the door bell complete with a plate of cut fruit and a bottle of sparkling wine, which he duly poured out for us. The food in the buffet was outstanding with so much choice, that we never ate the same meal twice during the whole week, whether it be for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Those who mention food is repetitive either hadn't been bothered to look what was on offer in the dining room or assumed grilled salmon and grilled sea bream equals grilled fish and roasted veal and roasted lamb means roast meat. The separate rooms in which you eat away from the buffet makes you think you are in a top class restaurant. All the waiting on staff were also first class from them showing you to a table, to after one day of service remembering what you were drinking at each meal. The Gala Night was an elaborate buffet affair followed by an after show chocolate bar, this being a table full of small chocolate treats, chocolate fountain and champagne. Both the main pool and adults only pool had comfortably matressed sunbeds and large umbrellas, so if wanted to be in the shade there was no both about moving the umbrella to find it. Although we did not use any of the facilities on the beach, other than the swing seats at the edge of the beach occasionally, we did walk along it in the seas edge which we found markedly warmer than both the main and adults only pools. On our return to the complex we were asked if we were Alibey residents and a show of our key cards proved invaluable. Our congratulations must go to the entertainment team, although we never bothered joining in with their daytime activities, who put on a first class show every night. All of which whether it be musicals, quizzes or dance shows they were all done to a very professional standard. However we do have two very minor negatives. The first being that as stated by a previous reviewer we too were in room 1024 and that a higher room would give you a better view of the complex, as lower floors are dark due to the foliage. Secondly was that as some the nights we were there it dropped a bit cooler, an indoor bar and entertainment area was missed, although they had hung heaters in trees of the outdoor bar areas. Would we return? of course.More

It was our second time at Ali Bey Resort, 1st time was in the summer 2013, we came back this summer(2014), and were not disappointed. Perfect hotel for vacation with kids, very nice design of the rooms, facilities and the territory, beautiful gardens! Beach could be a little cleaner, but some blame is, I guess, lies on the customers... Putting cigarette-buds in the sand next to your chair instead of an ashtray, which is 0,5 meter away, and throwing garbage on the ground instead of in to the bins, which are 1 meter away is just bad style and lack of general culture, to my opinion! Yes, there are staff at the hotel and the beach, but being a pig is not really necessary, perhaps... Service at the main restaurant is great! All the waiters are extremely nice, pleasant and helpful! Unfortunately, do not remember the particular names of the guys, to mention them personally. Food is good, tasty and fresh, after 3 weeks of staying, though, we got a little tired of somewhat limited choices, but what can one expect, when going to the same restaurant 3 times a week for 20 days?! Would like to specially thank the staff off the Mima-Club, Elena, Kamilla, Jef, Martine, Emi, Tanya, Nihal, Ramazan, Claudi, Natalia and all the others! My son did not spend all his time there, but whenever we went there, everybody was super nice, kind and friendly! Mini-disco was a hit too! Staff at the reception were very nice and helpful , even upon our arrival, which was very late(05 AM), due to delayed flight! Talked later with Ekaterina, she was very professional and attentive. Have read many reviews about Ali Bey Resort, not all positive, and would like to add, that my review is rather personal (as it should be...), and even though some of the problems and dislikes other people write about are true, and I perhaps agree with them about it, but for me it was not all important or significant enough to disturb our vacation, that's why the positive response... One negative obstacle, I guess: lack of laundry room! There is a laundry service, but quite expensive! A couple of washing machines and dryers would be a definitive improvement for the hotel, I think!More
Excellent price for value
Positive points: . Decor of buildings, rooms, very clean . Garden, different pools (all lovely) . Choice of bars / cafes . Always enough sun beds at the pools and beach . Very friendly service . Nice shows in the evening . Good quality of the free local drinks . Close to Side (you can walk) Negative points: . Hardly any offering of water sport activities . You can only play volley, mini golf, boccia on certain times . Shower water pressure . Water in kids pool too cold Neutral points: . Food (good main courses, but very repetitive, starters and desserts less good) Conclusion: We would definitely come back, thank you AliBey staff!More
My wife and I stayed from 26/09 until 1010 as with another couple to celebrate our 50th birthdays. Reception was very slick and used the modern style of not having a traditional "reception desk". We were greeted by an usher who introduced us to a receptionist who explained the facilities of the hotel and the AI options. The whole process was very efficiently handled and within minutes we were on our way via golf buggy to our rooms. Rooms are very spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean (the standard was maintained for our entire stay). We were in room 1024 which was on the second floor about half way between reception and the pool areas, in my view ideal but floor 3 would have afforded a slightly better outlook such is the height and depth of the surrounding greenery. This isn't a complaint, just an observation. The rooms themselves have tea/coffee facilities, bathrobes, slippers, bath and shower, hairdryer plus everything else you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Restaurants are all of a superb standard, the main buffet restaurant has such an array of options it's difficult to see what could be added. As a fussy eater I never had any issues whatsoever and feel it's the best restaurant of this type that i have ever experienced. There are 2 al-a-carte restaurants that can also be pre booked, the fish restaurant is FOC and the Turkish requires a 15 euro payment per person. Beer and soft drinks are FOC in both of these but wine is extra and be warned a half decent bottle will set you back a minimum of 40 euros. In my view both are worth a visit with the fish restaurant being particularly good, Personally I found the Turkish to be a little rich for my taste. In addition to the above there is a sandwich/crepe cafe which serves from 2-6pm and a beach bar serving pizzas etc during the day, both of these are again spotlessly clean with service that mirrors that of the entire resort. The bars around the resort are all well stocked and staffed with really friendly and attentive staff. A particular favourite of ours was the Paymene bar where common courtesy and the odd small tip go a long way to enhancing the experience. The all inclusive drinks are a little limited in all the bars, beer, wine, local vodka, local, gin, local brandy, saki and soft drinks are in the AI package but branded drinks and wines are chargeable. We didn't have an issue with this so it wasn't a problem but you can, for 10 euro pp/pd, upgrade to ultra AI which gives you more drink options for your stay...my advice would be to see how you go for a day or so before committing. Swimming pools are all kept fanatically clean, there is plenty of shade and space around the poolsides and there is never an issue with finding a sunbed at any time of day...a real plus in my book. Service around the poolsides is both discreet and attentive. The beach front pool is heated during the early and late months whereas both the main (free form) pool and quiet pool are not. The beach is right at the front of the hotel pool area and is both spacious and clean, again there is no shortage of sunbeds and the huge parasols give plenty of protection from the sun. The beach area benefits from the same attention to detail and cleanliness as the rest of the resort. Daytime activities include football, aqua gym, darts, boules etc but are never force fed, there is a gym and spa on site which is chargeable. Evening entertainment revolves around a nightly "show" where professional dancers perform to musicals or themes such as "Michael Jackson night" or "Saturday Night Fever". Whilst not our bag these are very well executed and not the usual ammeter offerings which are more widely offered. In addition to this there are regular outside discos, quizzes and a weekly "garden party" (a particular favourite). The evening entertainment can feel a little regimented at times but is non the less of a high standard. For those wanting a little more, the bars stay open until about 1am and the nightclub (again superbly equipped) carries on until 2am (as required). For us, more needs to be made of both the garden parties and nightclub as, at the time of our visit, they seem under utilised. I feel I need to give a special mention to both Ibrahim and Dogan in the Paymene bar and Hussain (Mr DJ) who all contributed to make our stay so wonderful. I honestly cannot recommend this resort enough for a beach, pool, chillout type holiday. It really is top drawer and would not hesitate to return.More

Myself and my Mum stayed at this resort from 23rd September till 3rd October in room 828 with a fabulous view of the mountains. This was our first time in Turkey and we were not disappointed. I would like to thank all the staff that work at AliBey for being so welcoming and friendly. Each and everyone of you all work so hard.Ala carte restaurant staff and staff from Peymane Bar who made each evening we were there very pleasant. My Mum left her hand bag at Peymane bar and when she went back, Doan had found it and kept it safe till she came for it.A personal thank you to him. Transfers ran very smooth to and from the resort and a welcome drink when we arrived at the resort. Each night, our bed covers were turned down a little box of turkish delight left on or pillows,This was a nice touch we thought. The grounds of the hotel were spotless and very beautiful. The food choice was amazing and on Gala night, outstanding !! We watched a few shows on site: Michael Jackson, The Lion King, Dracula and Saturday Night Fever, excellent. We also went on a few excursions: Manvagat,Perge, Antalya and the Green Canyon,we enjoyed them all especially Antalya with the markets. The beach was lovely and it felt reassuring to know that there are security present even though not once did we feel unsafe when we were out and about. We hope to come back to this resort next year.Again, thank you to all at Alibey Resort.More
