Still hard to find fault.

Second stay here, almost everything from previous revew (April 2014) as good as then.Couple of differences - air-con throughout hotel seemed a bit weak, ok for September but might have struggled in high summer. On plus side, free WiFi across hotel, but rather dodgy connection upstairs. Lovely staff, from reception to restaurant, bars to room maids, excellent service with a genuine smile make it a real pleasure to stay here. Huge selection at both breakfast and dinner though, again, I would have preferred a little hotter, all areas impeccably clean at all times. Took advantage of the free bus to the dunes this time (get ticket in advance from reception), enjoyed day at a huge, clean beach with beds and umbrella, 3EU each, and lovely clear blue sea, easy to access and can go 200 yards out and still stand. If you get fed up , can catch local bus/taxi back early. This is a great hotel in great location, adults only good for us oldies, Best way to describe it is classy and stylish, without being remotely snobbish - a real pleasure to visit. Will definitely return again, just hope you don't all want to do so at the same time!More

Top class in every way

If you want a great location, great food, peace, tranquility, entertainment, cleanliness, professionalism and friendliness then stop looking because you have just found it. The Barcelo Corralejo Bay is the answer to all your questions. If you want total privacy pick a garden room, if you like a little bit of distraction pick a pool view. But you will get value for money at this hotel.More

Amazing hotel couldn't ask for better

We stayed at the hotel for 1 week during September. It was pure bliss with it being an adult only hotel, during the day it was so quiet and relaxing. The pools are a good size and plenty of sun beds on offer, although the hotel states reserving them is not advised we saw everyone doing it but we opted for the beach. We’ve stayed in Corralejo before at different hotels, what we found best about this one was the location it is close to the main strip and beach which is rare for this area. Especially to have a hotel so established and renowned as this one. Our room was 1208 which was a deluxe hot tub room, we emailed the hotel to upgrade after we booked, we found this cheaper to do than through the website we used. The hot tub is in the room which is what we wanted as we expected to use it mainly in the evenings so didn’t want to be outside. The TV was big enough to watch from the tub which my boyfriend was happy about as it meant he was able to watch the rugby. The TV had UK channels such as BBC 1 & 2, ITV and Channel 4 which I’ve not come across in any hotel abroad and we are fairly well traveled. This hotels room sound proofing is excellent, we rarely heard any of the other rooms and because of that we had the best nights sleeps we have had at a hotel. The access to the spa for 90 minutes a day with the room we booked was a nice touch. The spa is fabulous one of the best we’ve been too, plenty of space but they recommend booking to secure your spot. I had two treatments when there which I found very relaxing and reasonably priced. The team there are very professional and are a credit to the hotel. The food at the hotel is ok, we loved breakfast and the variety was overwhelming. The variety of eggs they make and smoothies goes beyond most hotels. The evening meal is average and that is the only part that I felt let the hotel down. The reason I say average it was repetitive and bland. However I do understand it is difficult when hotels are preparing food on mass it can be hard. We opted to eat out 3 nights of the nights we were there but that’s because we felt the cost between B&B and HB wasn’t drastic should we weren’t wasting money. So overall to summarise if you want a peaceful hotel during the day with a spacious room and excellent facilities with an ideal location then this is a hotel for you.More

Excellent 5 star hotel in a great location without the resort of Corralejo

This was our 1st visit to this hotel but it most certainly will not be our last. From the moment we arrived we were struck with the quality of the hotel and the high standard of cleanliness. 1st rate !More

A great place to stay - expect to bring down the average age!

This hotel definitely surpassed expectations. We had a junior suite which was a great size, big balcony, complementary mini bar which was restocked daily and maid service twice daily. The hotel is great and the breakfast buffet had more than enough choice for a weeks breakfasts. Everyone is friendly, polite and more than happy to help. Location is great with the beach a very short walk away, along with the main strip for restaurants and bars. Overall I'd definitely come back, albeit the majority of holiday makers staying at the same time resembled the cast from Cocoon ! Don't let this put you off, it means the days are very quiet and the evenings are host to many a 'turn'. More
