Barceló Corralejo Bay

Loading

The adults-only Barcelo Corralejo Bay is nestled in the heart of Corralejo. You’ve got shops, bars and restaurants on your doorstep, and a sandy beach just a couple of minutes’ walk away. Better still, the hotel is surrounded by waxy palms and tropical shrubs, which give things a peaceful, private feel.

The greenery continues out by the swimming pools. There are two of them, and they’re shaded by glossy vines that line up along the water’s edge. Sunbeds and parasols dot the surrounding terrace, and there’s a bar out here, that’s well-stocked with drinks and snacks.

Elsewhere, you’ve got a tranquil spa that’s perfect for unwinding. Among the facilities on offer are a string of showers with different aromas, colours and music, a toning pool and a bubbling hot tub. Plus, you can enjoy treatments like a full body massage.

A good value adults only hotel

Having previously stayed when this was not adults only we were pleased to see the change in format and duly booked for a week in the sun. The pool area is fabulous and maintained to a good standard, and the main pool is also good, with easy access to several depths. The restaurant is pleasant with many window tables and ample outside dining too. Food is good with breakfast offering a wide choice including cook to order omlettes. Dinner is great and a typical rotation of fish, meats, pasta, massive choice of salads, and puddings there is always a choice for even the fussy eater. The standard rooms are a little dated but always clean with ample room and pleasant a balcony. The location is also good, in a side road less than 5 minutes from the beach and also the main strip where a selection of bars, restaurants and clubs are to be found. Several supermarkets are also nearby so extra drink supplies or lunch can easily be sorted out. We didn't sample the spa facilities or upgradeMore

Go B & B Only!

Excellent hotel. Very well located (proximity to beach and town), well maintained and very friendly staff. The only downside is that the evening meals are pretty bland, and we ate out in the town most evenings despite being half-board. More

Wonderful

This hotel is one of the best I have ever stayed in. Peaceful, friendly, great location, great facilities and good food. If you are after a quiet, relaxing, adult only holiday you won't be disappointed.More

Wonderful Holiday

We booked this hotel through Thomas Cook and was not disappointed on arrival. Location is perfect for Corralejo and after a week we still felt it was the best hotel around. We arrived at Reception and was given a ground floor room. After reading other reviews we asked if we could change but was told to check out the room as it was an "upgrade". The room turned out to be at the end of the hotel with views of a fence. Back at Reception we spoke to another Receptionist who told us they were fully booked and if we were still unhappy they would move us the next day. Next day to be fair they moved us to a first floor room and it was fine. Not sure original room was as great as they made out. That's the negative bit out of the way because after that we had a great time. all the staff were very friendly and as stated previously there are no children. We had read there were no tea making facilities in the rooms but they do provide a kettle with tea, coffee, etc. Room safe is €3 per day. Everywhere very clean. Would definitely recommend this hotel.More

Very Relaxing

My husband and I were after a relaxing getaway in the sun and this is exactly what we got. The hotel does not allow children and caters perfectly for couples. The staff were all very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is well located in Corralejo, a couple of minutes from the beach and the town. We had booked half board. The choice of food on the buffet was excellent and it wasn't over cooked. We took advantage of the jazz night in the pool bar. The set menu was very nice and made a pleasant change to the buffet. Nev's guided walk was very informative and helped us to find our bearings. The cocktail event was also great fun. The evening entertainment was varied and I feel was more to the tastes of the older guests. We took advantage of the spa and gym facilities. The spa was excellent, the gym a little small. The room was very spacious & clean and the balcony was not overlooked. The only fault I could find was that the decor was a little dated and in need of updating in our room. The bar staff were very friendly and the choice of drinks was excellent. They weren't overpriced and looking at the menu there was plenty included had we been all inclusive.More
