The Barcelo Corralejo Bay is an adults-only retreat with a great spa and a pair of pools. It's in a fantastic location, too - the bars and restaurants in the town centre are within arm's reach, and the sandy beach is a few minutes' stroll away.
The adults-only Barcelo Corralejo Bay is nestled in the heart of Corralejo. You’ve got shops, bars and restaurants on your doorstep, and a sandy beach just a couple of minutes’ walk away. Better still, the hotel is surrounded by waxy palms and tropical shrubs, which give things a peaceful, private feel.
The greenery continues out by the swimming pools. There are two of them, and they’re shaded by glossy vines that line up along the water’s edge. Sunbeds and parasols dot the surrounding terrace, and there’s a bar out here, that’s well-stocked with drinks and snacks.
Elsewhere, you’ve got a tranquil spa that’s perfect for unwinding. Among the facilities on offer are a string of showers with different aromas, colours and music, a toning pool and a bubbling hot tub. Plus, you can enjoy treatments like a full body massage.

Wonderful Hotel and Amazing Staff!
Just returned back from one week in this hotel. Although the weather was mixed the hotel and staff made the holiday. The hotel is in an ideal position, just off the main street. Upon approaching the hotel, the outside was breathtaking. Rooms were brilliant but the staff made the holiday. They could not do enough to help you and always served you with a smile. There was a particularly lovely bar maid who served around the pool bar. We don't remember her name but she had long black hair with a blonde streak and we think she had a son called juan. She is an absolute credit to the hotel. I am very critical of four star hotels but can't fault this one. Give it a go and you won't regret it!More

Relaxing week in a wellness room with exclusive terrace, hot tub & access to spa . Staff couldn't be more helpful or professional. Courtesy bus to dunes was worth a visit for the stunning scenery. Restaurant food was good & varied - but would recommend having dinner early as buffet style so choice was better. Spa facilities are second to none . Free wifi could be a bit slow during peak times The wellness rooms give you the feeling & experience of a boutique hotel with the added advantage of all the facilities found in a larger hotelMore

I'd go back - never said that before!
We've stayed in hotels all over the world and even though some of them have been top class and expensive, we've always thought, 'Well, been here now so somewhere new next time.' But the Barcelona Corralejo Bay, although not 5 star and in a typical touristy area, is perfect for a short winter break. We wanted a half term escape to the sun. Somewhere comfortable, stress free, very close to restaurants and not feeling that we need to be out each day spending loads of money. This hotel met all these needs. Last February we went on a cruise to Singapore, Bangkok and Vietnam and were worn out when we got home after dashing about trying to see everything in only 8 days. We stayed on a B&B basis which I think is the best to do here. There is an abundance of restaurants on the doorstep which are all very reasonably priced for both food and drink. A few people I spoke to on HB said the evening buffet food was okay, nothing special, and they wish they'd just gone B&B and eaten out each evening. It's a quiet hotel with an older clientele and I think you'd go stir crazy if you had to stay HB or AI. The breakfast in the hotel is pretty good though with lots of choice, including Cava. The coffee machines are a bad idea though. They work with little pods which take ages to percolate so quite a queue can build up. Rooms also have tea/coffee making facilities. We were in a Wellness room which was worth paying a little extra for. It was large with very comfortable beds and a large bathroom with his and her sinks. Having this room included free WiFi throughout the hotel and pool area, which was stable and fast, towelling robes and free entrance to the spa. This normally cost â¬15 per visit. The water circuit in the spa is good. Our room was on the ground floor and had a good size terrace and 2 easy chairs with leg rests. We got the sun all afternoon and was sheltered from the wind which was good as the wind was quite bad while we were there. The bed should have been a double but it was just 2 singles pushed together and each still made up as single beds. They were very comfortable though. The room fridge was nice and cold and came ready stocked with 4 bottles of beer, 4 bottles of soft drinks and some bottles of water. This was all free of charge. We then used the fridge to store our own (very cheap!) beer and wine. The room furniture and bathroom fittings are a little dated but are spotlessly clean, as is the hotel in general. The TV in the room was handy. As I said, we went just for a relaxing week in the sun so we'd go out to eat in the early evening and were mostly back by 10pm, partly because it was quite cold and very windy in the evening and I'd only taken a cardigan with me. We just then relaxed in the room in the armchairs watching BBC1/BBC2/ITV/Channel 4 drinking beer or wine. There was evening entertainment in the hotel, none of which we found particularly to our tastes except for the Motown tribute on the Wednesday. The pool area is very nice but the water was FREEZING! You could always get loungers at any time of the day but I think that was mainly because the weather wasn't the best. The pool area doesn't open until 9am. We went every morning right after breakfast and were often on our own until after 10am. It was often cloudy in the morning until about 11am and then it would be broken cloud and sun until about 3pm when the cloud really moved in and the wind then seemed colder. That's when we decamped to our room terrace which was much more sheltered. We didn't spend any money on food or drink in the hotel but I had a quick look at the lobby bar price list and it was very reasonably priced for a hotel. We often like to have a winter break in the sun and I will definitely consider returning to this hotel - a first for me! All we want is a comfortable hotel with a good breakfast, nice quiet pool area, comfortable room, and with places to eat on the doorstep. This hotel fulfills those needs and i would go again no matter where it was. Fuerteventura isn't a pretty island and there's nothing of much interest there but that didn't matter. Our main holiday is in the summer and for a winter break we just want to relax and enjoy the sun, and that's just what we did. Some information - in restaurants house wine is â¬7 to â¬10 per bottle, a large beer was â¬3 to â¬3.50. Meals we had ranged from â¬8.95 (Chinese buffet) to â¬14 (very large sirloin steak). Tapas for 2 at the harbour ( choose any 8 tapas) is â¬25 which includes a glass of wine each. Beer (Tropical) in the Hippodino supermarket is â¬10 for 12 large cans and a bottle of Blue Rondell Cava (very nice) is â¬3.11. Downsides to the hotel - they charge â¬3 per day for a safety deposit box and you can only change your pool towel once for free, after this you have to pay â¬2 for each change. These two penny pinching things let the hotel down. Get rid of the free Cava at breakfast and offer safety deposit boxes and pool towels for free!More
Fantastic from start to finish.
Just returned from a weeks fab all inclusive holiday. Staff fantastic and always ready with a smile. Food excellent, we especially enjoyed lunch (sirloin to die for!!). AI drinks included most top brands and the measures very generous. Good nightly entertainment. Great location and resort. Various free daytime activities (Nav brill!). Room a good size, big comfy beds and nice rain shower. Cleaned daily. Pool towels provided. Couldn't fault any aspect and will definitely return. Thanks to all for a truly memorable holiday.More
