Some positives and some negatives but did enjoy our stay.
The overall hotel is dated and that is obvious from arrival. We arrived at 4am for a 7 night stay at the Riudor Half Board. On arrival the check in was swift which you would expect at that time, they also provided a packed lunch which wasnt the best, however it was a nice idea.
The breakfast at the hotel were very good, as were the evening meals, the food was excellent, lots of choice, and we even decided to have lunch on a couple of days as the food was that good. Definately something for everybody.
One gripe is the sunbed scenario on a morning. I was having to get up at 7am each morning to put towels out otherwise you had no choice of getting a sunbed. If the cleaners seen you doing this they made the reception aware. People were walking out of the main entrance, down the side of the hotel and having to climb over the wall which is ridiculous, somebody will get injured and the hotel are aware of this.
The rooms are basic but very clean, the cleaners are in daily and do a good job. Bathroom is spotless, beds comfy but pillow thick and hard but you have to adjust. We had a view of the stage outside so could watch entertainment from there. The walls in the rooms are like paper so you are kept awake with any little noise which is annoying.
The entertainment/activites are fun. Pool, table tennis, darts and water polo and these are done by either Carl who is such a funny lad, or Monica who does a fantastic job and the entertainment on a night includes her a lot which she is brilliant.
Poolside bar is very good, no complaints, and happy hour throughout the week.
Although there are some negatives, the location is perfect, close to bars, shops and beach if required. I would stay again but probably would not be my preference.More

Great location, very basic hotel
Stayed at the Riudor early August 2015. First impressions were the line of mobility scooters in the reception, the packed lunch provided on arrival ( dry sandwiches, tin of ? Pate and an apple) and the fact that they would not supply a safe key on the first night despite us wanting to get out and sample Benidorm. The room was basic but clean and fairly comfortable ( beds wee very firm but we were fine with that). I was disappointed that at no point during our stay were sheets changed and the air con wasn't very good making the room humid at night. The 2 really disappointing factors were that at no point during our week long stay did we manage to get a bed anywhere around the pool. The 'no reservations' policy is a joke, with beds fully reserved by 9:30am. The second point was the food. Whilst edible the selection was poor and the quality of meat and fish the basic cheaper fatty cuts. Lots of stews and very British stodgy stuff and nothing that would tell you, you were in Spain!!! We were half board and ate out at least 4 times during our week long stay. Plus points are the hotels is adults only and is right in the heart of all the Benidorm action. I wouldn't stay here again and am really surprised at all of the positive reviews as we are definitely no a fussy couple and recognise that we got a fairly reasonable deal on this holiday. That said we had a fantastic holiday because of what we did and where we went using the hotel as a bed only. I would advise anyone that has booked do not stay in the confines of the hotel. Eat and drink out and sample everything Benidorm has to offer!!!!!!More

Nice Hotel in central location
We stayed for a week at the Riudor at the beginning of August this year. The rooms were very clean, the staff were friendly and the pool area was good for a quiet swim in the nice deep pool. We stayed half board as we like to go out quite a lot when we are away. The price of drinks at the hotel was very reasonable and the service was nice and quick. Can't really fault the hotel as we got it for a good price. We would come back again. We could not hear the noise of the town when the balcony door was shut. We liked sitting on the balcony in the evenings and listening to the hustle and bustle and watching the world go by.More
