Hotel Rio Park

You'll find stylish, modern décor at this popular hotel, along with easy access to Benidorm's main strip.

This imposing building might look like a typical Benidorm hotel from the outside. But, thanks to a refurb, inside it's all funky retro-style sofas and contemporary cream lounge chairs. The big pool is one of the highlights.

Location-wise, you're in a quiet road less than a 10-minute walk from Benidorm's major bars and restaurants. And when you want to hit the sands, Levante Beach is a 15-minute walk away.

Still good but......better last year.

Emailed hotel direct requesting middle floor and rooms on opposite sides, one pool view the other quieter side. We got exactly what we asked and wine & chocs as a thank you :-) Our rooms were clean and the maids did a great job. The food was OK but NOT as good as last year but this is not the Ritz they are catering to the masses! No one will go hungry always plenty choice. The outside bar staff do a great job serving drinks and snacks very cheaply too! But have to mention Tordor he is Amazing! At night on the terraces he serves 6 at a time remembers all the orders, who paid what and brings correct change! What a memory ! His day\night off is VERY noticeable! The entertainment is good but again better last year. Ashley and crew are great but some of his better singers\ dancers have moved on. However they work very hard and do a good job making sure everyone is having fun. From 11am to 12am they're always smiling. On the whole good hotel great for families handy for new and old town yes I'd return sometime. Tip:- get up before 7am to get a lounger in your favourite spot. There is plenty but they are snapped up quick in school holidays.More

11 day holliday

Our Holliday started mid July this hotel great if you have children if you don't not advisable at this time of year we don't have kids and are seniors we should have known better the food is average for the price we paid overall not bad if you want to go to Benidorm our room was on the ninth floor the room was basic air conditioning wants to be cleaned as it smelt when you went into room drinks average priced we bit more expensive than outside. if we went again we would get adults only hotel and pay bit extra staff helpful and obliging als Thomson reps very obliging we cannot really complain but not one of our best hollidays it's just not we are used to just stick to cruises in futureMore

good value for budget hotel

My wife and i stayed for 2 weeks July 2015. for a budget hotel my impression was of a well managed, organised hotel. Room was cleaned each day,and beds made. sheets we changed weekly and towels changed simply by leaving them in the bath any time. Food was good quality and plenty of choice. There is no hair dryer or tea making facilities so recommend bring a dryer and a small travel kettle if you like a cuppa in yr room. [don't forget an adapter] lots of entertainment at poolside each day and two acts each evening in the outside stage. The whole staff team were polite and helpful. It is a few minutes walk down to the front. My only suggestion would be that given the day temp was mid 30's every day it may be helpful if staff could remind people to ensure children are properly protected with a sun via the PA system.More

Stayed 14th/21st July myself and my husband and had the most fantastic time the hotel is the best we've been to by far and considering it's only a 2 star you certainly get your money's worth. All the staff are polite, helpful and always have a smile. The entertainment is brilliant especially the shows they put on. The thompson holiday reps were very good as well. Food is the best I've had lots of choice usuall my husband would either have chips or salad but this time I think he only had chips once as he was able to find something he liked every night. Drinks are quite cheep for a hotel we've stayed at other hotels where the drinks have been expensive. Our room was no more smaller than other hotels the cleaners came in every day, clean towels every day and our sheets were changed as I say you don't live in the room only sleep after all you are supposed to be on holiday and should be out enjoying yourself not staying in your room all the time. My husband and I would without a doubt recommend rio park to all our friends and family and we are already looking to come back next year with other members of our family.More
