My holidays in regente
I have stayed in this hotel many times and have always had lovely holidays. The reception staff the bar staff dining room staff are so friendly. Over the years I have become friends with everyone there and they are lovely people. Clean rooms and commune areas . Only fault I think the entertainment at times is catered for the Spanish but the hotel doesn't realise it's the English people that keep this hotel going. That aside I LOVE this hotelMore
Stayed here 22nd June for 10 days, lovely welcoming man on reception, we went all inclusive which is well worth the money only thing was the food was not to my taste or my husbands, the rooms are spacious enough and are cleaned everyday only gripe about the rooms is the walls are to thin I could here the man next door snoring and having a full blown conversation, the pool are is always clean aswell as the terrace, you can get snacks from the pool bar between 12 and 4 pm, my overall stay was pleasant and would stay here again. Good hotel, staff lovely, food reasonably good. rooms and hotel itself was very clean. our only gripe was that around 7 or before it we think probably the regulars had towels covering 2 beds and chairs on top that they used during the day for there bits and pieces they needed for the pool plenty of sunbeds available but limited space around the pool and because we had children with us we wanted to be close to the pool to watch them most of the time this wasn't possible as the towels were on all of these sunbeds near the pool the whole way round it we stayed in another hotel in Benidorm last yr and they did not let anybody out to the pool till 10am the door to pool was locked it was a great idea as there wasn't the die hards who must sit up all night to make sure they get there towels down also at the other hotel towels were removed if they had been left for hrs on end while the owners go shopping which seemed to happen the whole wk we were at the regente towels were left on beds for hrs with nobody using the bed, apart from that as I said this is the only thing that seems to spoil it nice laid back hotel maybe too laid back with some of the guests would stay here again but would pick a quieter time of year as in previous reviews yes the walls are quite thin but there is nothing that can be done about that we did find our neighbours noisy but didn't spend a lot of time in the room so didn't really annoy us that much hotel is in a good location plenty of shops and bars great bakery out pool gate and to the left benidorms answer to greggs, also buffet in china garden was good to the right on main rd. if you have kids mundomar is worth a visit our kids loved it,More
