Zante Atlantis

Loading

It’s easy to please when you’ve got a location like the Zante Atlantis. The apartments are situated just a few streets off the main drag, so the centre of Laganas is just 10 minutes away. You’ll also find a good clutch of bars and restaurants more or less on the doorstep. Plus, there’s a supermarket and a bakery just a few metres away.

The complex itself had a spruce up for 2012. The set-up in the apartments and studios is still the same – the former come with one twin-bedded room and two extra beds in the lounge, while the latter can take up to 3 single beds. But both accommodation types have been given a refreshing repaint and brand new kitchenettes.

Elsewhere, a games room has been created on the property where you can play pool while you shade from the midday sun.

Perfect Perfect Perfect!!

I stayed at Zante Atlantis in September 2013 with my boyfriends family and we had such an amazing holiday. The hotel is spotlessly clean, rooms are lovely with large balconies and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. As soon as we got home we booked to stay there again this June with my family and I can't wait. The atmosphere is very welcoming and we chose to stay by the pool bar most nights as it was so much fun and the people were just so lovely. I recommend anyone of any age to stay here as they cater for all ages. Definitely worth a visit people!! More

Amymgreen94,

This isn't a business, its a family

I am probably very late in writing this review, I never really write reviews but after reading some of the reviews on this site. I stayed in the Atlantis in august 2013, was towards the end of the month and was super apprehensive of what it would be like after reading so many mixed reviews. I travelled with my partner, were are mid 20s and came here as we were getting married here in May 2014 so came to meet our wedding planner. On approaching the hotel we pulled in to the front of the hotel and upon arrival I immediately thought "this isnt like the brochure" straight away we were welcomed by Ellis the rep who was really helpful and even offered to pull our suitcases into the reception ha ha Check in was quick and efficient, receptionist took our passports to hold or the two weeks of our stay which I thought was odd but looking back I understand why they do this. room was clean and spacious, lobby clean and open and the poll was a good size and the sunbeds plentiful. The one thing I noticed during my stay here was that this hotel caters for everyone, the music is varied and the food is a really good price AND plentiful! (Big thumbs up to the club sandwich, im sure i lived on this most days) Aaron was amazing with the guests and a couple of his cocktails will have you on your back before you even begin your night, must try the milkshakes! The staff were so friendly and always had time to ask how you are, such a personal touch and it made my holiday. Finally Nikos, I have stayed in many hotels and met many hotel managers but you are truly lovely, very hands on with the work and friendly to guest. My partner and I were spending the day by the pool during our stay and fancied a desert off the menu, we couldn't decide so Nikos got his mum (cooking in the kitchen) to whack us up something off the menu, was yummy!!!! I am travelling back t Zante in 11 weeks for two weeks for my wedding, we are staying in a different hotel as its were we are getting married but I have booked my parents, my partners parents and 4 of my guests into this hotel for the dates of the wedding as I loved it so much! :) I am hoping to come and join in the Thursday night BBQ if im allowed :P A truly lovely holiday, resort and the beach is what you make it, if you go with an open mind and make the best of it you will have a wonderful time Lauren & JamieMore

So Helpful

This was my 1st time in Zante, planned on staying out there for a week, but was admitted into hospital on the 5th day of my week holiday, where i stayed at another hotel. My mum had to fly out to the hospital for me and the Atlantis were amazing, she was given a room (which she didn't have to pay for) for an undefined date (as we had no idea when i would be released from the hospital) they transferred my case from the first hotel, to the Atlantis, was helped by the reps who were constantly checking up with her as to how i was and if anything was needed. When finally released from hospital but unable to fly, they made sure the air conditioning was on and working properly, as still needed clean air even though on an oxygen tank at the time. Because i was in the hospital for so long i had such a british craving for beans! (strange i know) but the guy who was working at the bar/cafe served me beans even though he had closed for the night. Horrible reason to be staying but was incredibly pleased with the treatment me and my mum recieved and as to how welcoming the hotel was. THANKYOU!More

best week ever!

I stayed here with 3 friends, all girls aged 18 and we had the best week ever! Couldnt fault the hotel, you get what you pay for so we werent expecting 5* luxury but the rooms were spacious and clean and had everything we needed! The pool was huge with enough sunbeds so no problems there! The food and drinks were such good value for money, the breakfasts were like an instant cure for our hangovers! staff were really freindly and helpful! Only a 5minute walk to the strip, took us 2hours on the first night out as we kept getting lost haha, close enough to walk to but far away enough that you cant hear all the noise! Overall the hotel was perfect for us but would definitely recommend getting air con if you want a decent nights sleep! thanks for a great week zante atlantis!! More

Hotel fine, but resort a disappointment

Hotel was pretty much what we expected from a 3 star, but being self catering, expected more utensils in the kitchen area. Swimming pool area was nice, with the pool being exceptional clean and well maintained. For food shopping, find the Express Market - turn right at end of Kalamaki road at top of strip - supermarket just 50 yards on right - everything you need for self catering, and so much cheaper than the mini market shops. If you want to venture outside the hotel food, then we can recommend Horizon on the beach front - Greek family owned - not like some other steak grill places in town. Great atmosphere and local dishes. Denise, her sister Anzula, and Nicos were all lovely members of staff, and tried their hardest to help cheer us up after we explained that we weren't happy with Thomson's for sending us to this resort. This is not the web page/place for us to go into that - nothing to do with the hotel, just the resort in general. Hotel in season, we think would be fine for the youngsters, but anyone over 30 years/families/couples, should avoid, as it would be very loud. End of season should be 2nd week in September, and there should be enough people around for the resort to still have some kind of atmosphere, not dead like 2nd week in October. Sorry to say, but we won't be going back. Good luck to Denise with her training to be a midwife, and many thanks to Anzula for her lovely insight into Greek culture, and Nicos for his understanding & kind words. Mark & StephanieMore
