This small, traditional place is right in the heart of Thassos Town, but manages to stay nice and peaceful.
This place is surprisingly peaceful, given it’s right in the heart of Thassos Town. Shops, bars and restaurants are on the doorstep, and it’s just a 10-minute walk to a golden-sand beach.
The pool is the hotel’s centrepiece. You’ll also find a restaurant that does a good breakfast spread, and an al fresco café-bar serving cocktails.

Thassos is amazing, the hotel is really beautiful , gorgeous breakfast, beds very comfy the owner is very friendly do not stroke dog. There are loads of restarunts near by make sure you visit the drift on the town beachMore
I have booked this hotel based on TripAdvisor reviews and based on a friends recommendation. When we(2 couples) arrived at the hotel, I have asked for a room with backyard view(pool view) and they told me that do not have anymore available rooms with pool view and if I want, I can call my tour operator and book to another hotel - I was not glad to receive this answer after I drove for 11 hours(in this is not included 1 hour ferryboat trip). My friends had an issue with the bathroom sink, they have reported and after 8 days, the sink still was not fixed. I got rooms with street view and unfortunately I was able to have a good sleep only for one night(1 from 8 nights, based on this I can say I had an awful vacation). The A.C. from the room was very dirty and has mold - I have reported this issue too and hope they have fixed it. The breakfast is not varied but I recommend their home made yogurt, honey, cereals and tomatoes. Also, the sheets were clean but old. The fridge from the room if it is plugged, makes some noiseMore
Typical Greek, friendly hotel in a great location
Just back from a lovely week at the Pegasus. I have given it top marks based on what it is ... It's a small, clean friendly hotel in the centre of town, it's not 5* but I didn't pay for or expect 5*. Room: a good size, air con (£45/week as normal in Greece) efficient, beds nice and firm, bathroom clean and water pressure good. Only thing I would have liked is a hook for the shower head. Pool: a great size for the centre of town, very chilly which was very welcome on a hot day Food/Drinks: breakfast nice continental (as described in the brochure) the Greek yogurt was lovely. Lunch at the pool side bar, especially the Greek salad with homegrown tomatoes was very nice and reasonably priced. We had a drink in The bar at the front each night, lovely atmosphere and great service from Lauren who worked hard and seemed to wear a lot of hats (receptionist, cleaner, bar maid) . Town: on the door step. Lots of restaurants, the town beach was a few minutes away but there were others slightly further away. Our favourite restaurants were thassian doukas and Twins but had nice meals in all of the ones we tried. Thomson rep : cant think of anything positive to say about this one, clearly not a fan of the island . Fortunately the hotel staff were happy to give us any information that we needed. I visited with my 24 year old daughter who was a bit younger that most of the guests, in the week that we visited I would say that most were 40+, I perhaps wouldn't recommend the hotel for young children but for us it was great and I can see myself returning with my husband in the futureMore
