The Sunrise Pearl Hotel & Spa counts a brilliant dining scene, a state-of-the-art spa and an attractive pool area among its best features.
This place has scored a plum position on one of the area’s best beaches. It means you’re only steps from the sand, and a short stroll takes you into Protaras, where you’ll find a cluster of tavernas and cafés.
The hotel is really stylish – think geometric marble pillars coupled with softly curved recesses. And there's a glass lift, so you get sea views as you zip up to your room. The pool scene’s pretty swish, too. You’ll find Balinese-style daybeds framing the water.

staff brilliant, hotel layout brilliant, swim up room brilliant, buffet and restaurants are not five star what a shame. eat around great idea we did it food at the Italian and the Thai was good but do you want a meal on a busy noisy road not relaxing at all . overall would not go back againMore
Beautiful Hotel and Location. One let down.
The hotel is beautiful. It's spotlessly clean and the fixtures and fitting are of a good standard. The pool area is large and as many people have already said cater for both adults and children. The pool staff are excellent, always on hand when you wish to have a drink or some food. The sun beds are a little outdated compared to other hotels we have stayed at. The King Jason's sun beds are far superior. The dine around option is fantastic. It's a great bonus to have and this alone should be a key reason to stay. We are in most of the restaurants and they were nice, without being fantastic but far better than sitting in a buffet every night. Although in saying that, the hotel buffet was very good. Location is perfect. Beach to the back and the strip at the front. I wouldn't think there is a better location in the resort. The only reason that I can't give the hotel 5 stars, and this won't be popular with many, was the Manager, George. George seems to have his favourites, if you are not one of them, he doesn't bother with you. It was our first visit here so he didn't know us from previous stays but he wasn't welcoming to us at all. I know that most people say differently but I can only give you our opinion. Not a single 'good morning' came our way from George. Anyway, no need to go on but that's our view and the reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5. All in all, my advice would be to book this hotel.More

I spent 3 days at the hotel with my two kids. We had a great time. All was perfect, clean, accessible. Most of all, the staff is the friendliest ever, in particular Maria and Valanto!!!! See you next time!!!!More
One of the best in Cyprus
Gutted to be giving it 4 and not 5 stars but the service used to be better. The Pearl is undoubtedly a lovely hotel, fresh, modern and clean throughout, in a stunning location, with the strip packed with restaurants and bars at the front and direct access to the beech at the back, it's what keeps us coming back and recommending it to family and friends. One thing that I will say is the service isn't quite what it was a year ago. Front of house, reception and cleaning staff are still spot on, but the waiters are pretty useless now, often not seating you, forgetting someone's meal from an order (there was only 3 of us), forgetting to offer tea or coffee at breakfast service some days and little things like forgetting spoons etc, it might sound petty but its what can make or break a holiday. The service around the pool has slipped a bit too so that let it down a bit for us this year. We would still recommend the Pearl highly. Get your self in a nice sea view room with balcony and you won't regret it. Top tips: Give the swim up rooms a miss - bit of a waist of time as you won't use the dip pool and you end up with people swimming right past your room. Be sure to try the Lemon Grass Chinese restaurant- it's amazing. Another little activity we enjoined was the boat trips you get on further down the promenade(put the back of the hotel and take a left) Ice cream and coffee at Patisserie Amelie out the front is a nice treat too. Get on the beech early for a decent spot.More
A Real Pearl
What a brilliant hotel, very modern decor, spotlessly clean in all areas. superb pools and location right on the beach.On-site dining especially breakfast is very good.swapped dinner for lunch several times and this is done with no problems just give your room number.Sunbed allocation is another great idea [no early scramble to secure a decent spot] Dine-around restaurants on the strip are all brilliant[easy self booking in hotel foyer] we especially enjoyed The Lemongrass Our first room was 302 which is very close to the strip and quite noisy, had a word with reception and we were moved to room 108 which as well as solving the noise problem was also an upgrade to a junior suite ,Well done Pearl. Been to Protaras 4 times in the past and can say without fear of contradiction this is the best hotel by far. Think we are already thinking of returning next year, Well done all at the Sunrise PearlMore
