The Sol Y Mar Sharks Bay offers up contemporary rooms and All Inclusive dining. There's a large pool, too, and a shuttle bus that'll run you down to the hotel's private beach.
This hotel opened its doors in 2009, so it has a modern, fresh feel. The bedrooms are a case in point – they’re cool and contemporary, decorated in stylish light pastel colours. Slick touches include air-conditioning, satellite TVs and minibars.
Outside, this low-level hotel fans out around a good-sized swimming pool. If you’re coming in the winter months, it’s worth pointing out the pool’s heated at this time of year. The surrounding sun terrace is decked out with cushioned loungers and the fledgling palms are beginning to take shape. If you prefer the beach, the hotel runs a shuttle service down to Naama Bay and private beach.
On the food front, it’s an All Inclusive affair – with breakfast, lunch and dinner taken care of, buffet-style. If you like a lie-in, you’ll be pleased to know the hotel lays on breakfasts up until 10.00 in the morning. Plus, afternoon tea is part of the package. And if you fancy a seafood supper under the stars, there’s also an outdoor à la carte restaurant here - it’s worth paying that little bit extra for.

Another great time!
Just back from a 10 day break at this lovely hotel. Now been here 3 times and it is a testament to the place that so many people return year after year. Big up to Mohammed our cleaner, all the bar staff, reception staff and the animation team who worked there socks off especially Ali. A lot of new staff since last year but just as good. Contemplating my 4th visit already!More

Good hotel but a great animation team.
Me and my girlfriend recently returned from 10 days at this hotel and will always remember our first holiday for all the right reasons. The hotel is beautiful and clean, with great size rooms and very good bathrooms. The pool area is great with a brilliant pool bar. The pool bar is run by Abdo and the 4 Mohammed's who were all absolutely fantastic and made our stay comfortable and always made sure we had drinks. The animation team were great with water polo being the highlight of my day every day, with either Ahmed, Ali or Mohammed (tip: they always make sure their team wins! Could be 27-1 and they say "next goal wins" when they have the ball!). The only reason our stay wasn't 5* was mainly because of the food, which was very very plain and boring and often labelled incorrectly (something which lead to me having an allergic reaction!). The other thing was the location, however Soho square was the best place to go for food and shopping and this was just 2 minutes away on a free shuttle bus. Will definitely return.More
