This was our 4th stay at Club Magic Life and as always the staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful. We have enjoyed every visit. However, we did notice some small changes which could in the long run have a detrimental effect on this holiday resort if not restricted. The amount of staff appears to have decreased and was noticeable at this busy time of year. The staff as ever made every endeavour to keep all the guests happy but did not appear to have a moment to breath. The choice of food appears to have decreased also. There were other small but noticeable 'money saving' changes noticeable to regular visitors like us. Now to the flights.....the taking away of entertainment on the journeys is a big loss to the passengers. Without this choice the journey appears much longer and boring. Aso the 'on board'hot food purchases are boarding on inedible which would not be such an insult if not excruciatingly expensive. One minute bag of chips £2.50 and a cup of tea £2.50!!!! Captive audiences have no choice on a 5-6hour journey. Having said all this the getting there and coming home are the nightmares and not made any better but worse by Thomsons which we feel is a big mistake...look after your clients and they will keep coming back as we have up until now. The holiday and lovely Egyptian staff at Club Magic were as we had on our previous visits.
Stayed at Club Magic Life for 14 days. The resort is spotless and the entertainment team are all superb, they work very hard to ensure you get the most from your holiday. Restaurants are all terrific, al la carte and buffet. The main pool was to die for (huge) and very clean something for everyone. Must mention all facilities are free, bikes,archery,kangoos,tennis etc and all are good quality. Only minus points would be the room, although comfortable, it is basic and the fridge is rubbish, unable to adjust and its set to warm at best, when asking other holiday makers their fridge was the same. The beach is so so ie no sand (shale) and you must wear shoes for the sea as its like walking on sharp rock. The entertainment goes on all day whatever your interest I,d be amazed if you couldn,t find lots to enjoy. The nightly entertainment is ok (for Egypt it is good) the pool party we would say is the best and the disco music which is on from about midnight every night, must add the entertainment team go out of their way to mix with all and there is loads of them, getting you up to dance and also to have a chat. The team are very friendly, sociable and always good for a laugh all day. These guys,girls really make you holiday couldn,t thank them more. Walked up to the shopping area once, 5 mins to the right going out of the hotel. Unfortunately the Egyptian shop keepers are very pushy, to the point of standing in your path to make you go around them hoping to channel you into the shop. If you try to ignore them they will verbally abuse, which does spoil it for the tourist. This was our 1st and last wander off the complex, the incident did make us feel intimidated. Do not let this put you off Egypt or Club magic, you will enjoy
