A superb well managed hotel scoring high in every aspect for Cleanliness, Cuisine, Comfort and Staff who cannot do enough to assist. This comes all the way to from the Management Team through the Department Heads to all the staff. The Hotel may be a little too far out from the Town but in return you have peace and tranquility.
great hotel ,staff fantastic.facilities superb.thompson rep gemma great girl.in fact all thompson staff from the onset of my holiday at the airport right through to my return journey home ,efficient and always helpful.welll done thompson holidays.
The hotel was excellent and had a lovely feel about it. The staff were all helpful and the food superb. It was a 15 minute walk into the town which had plenty of cafes, bars, shops etc. and a picturesque marina. The only small criticism was the lack of evening entertainment in the hotel.
A delightful, spacious and quiet hotel with a touch of class about it. The reception area and lounge sets the style - spacious, immaculate marble floors and deep inviting arm chairs. This opens onto a similarly spacious lounge and bar and then onto the terrace leading onto the pool. It never felt crowded. And there were always spare sunbeds. The hotel policy of no towels on sunbeds worked. Although on the fringe of the town I found the walk pleasant enough. Its distance gives the hotel again sense of quiet. Its position with the two arms of the bdroom wings forming a U around the freeform pool, leads onto a pine tree shaded lounge bed area and then onto the rocky edge of the sea. There are wooden stairs on the rocky promontory leading into the sea but I did not think I could safely manage the rocks. I am 81. Younger and fitter men and women used them. Food was plentiful with a wide choice and attractively displayed. The dining room could get a little busy at peak periods. The staff were superb especially reception staff. If I attempted to speak my rudimentary Spanish they were delighted and listened carefully and gently corrected me at times. Overall a beautiful and very restful week.
This hotel was lovely and exactly as seen in the brochure, however when we arrived we found out that men had to wear long trousers into the restaurant and this was not mentioned in the brochure. When my husband mentioned to the gentleman on reception that there was a small problem in that he had not brought any long trousers but had brought long tailored shorts and shirts the German gentleman said that was indeed a problem and directed us to a cheap souvenir shop to purchase some (a twenty minute walk away in 37 degree heat straight after we arrived)!! We were made to feel very belittled, inferior and uncomfortable. However after speaking to our Rep (Jemma was very helpful), she had a word with the restaurant staff, it was agreed that as long as gentlemen wore long shorts that were smart with a shirt they would be ok. Also the brochure mentioned international evening entertainment - this was in fact only three shows throughout the week (in the height of the season) and the acts were mediocre and very amatuerish to say the least. Our only other option was one beach bar "Mangos" (where the staff were very friendly) - there were no other bars or restaurants within easy walking distance. The hotel, spa and restaurant were however excellent and only spoilt by the fact that the evening entertainment did not live up to the four star billing.
