I have just returned from a week in this amazing villa. The villa is superb, the photos do not do it justice at all. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The kitchen is well equipped, although no jug, so purchased one for them! The villa is very large, and easily accommodated 10 of us. It is set in a very private area, and from the bedrooms and balconies you have a sea view, which was a surprise to us. There are excellent restaurants around, and they like to spoil you, especially if you have children. You are well looked after in the local restaurants. You do however need a car to get around. But the roads are so quiet its easy driving. Armacao de Pera is a nice town, Albuferia is not too far away and also a great place to visit. A little further away is Loule, another lovely place to visit, we had great fun at the market there. We visited the zoomarine, which at first we thought wasn't worth the entrance fee, however we were soon proved wrong and for those that like that sort of thing the dolphins were a joy to watch. There was also the sea lion and the parrot show. The surrounding beaches are absolutely fabulous, so beautiful, but be prepared for very steep hills and beaches. It can also be very windy, but the sun is still very strong. We also visited the Fiesa which is a sand sculpture festival. Totally fascinating. Well worth a visit. All in all we had a fabulous time, a week just wasn't long enough and we didn't want to come home. I would go back tomorrow, we received such a warm welcome, the Portuguese are such friendly people. Only three minor quibbles, we hired three cars from Thomson, (two were included, but hired an extra one) but Europcar hadn't received this information, even though we triple checked with Thomson, but Europcar pulled out all the stops and found us another car, better than the one ordered.Would advise you to take the original booking form with you to prove extra vehicle hire! The pool could have been warmer, but I expect if you go in July August then it will have been warmed up by the sun. And some instructions for the pizza oven would have been helpful as we tried on two occasions to get the oven hot enough to cook pizza (and two chefs were trying to get it going) we ended up doing the pizza in the oven in the kitchen. But these things certainly didn't spoil our holiday, all in all a great time was had by all and considering the age range of the guests (12 years to 72 years) everyone was kept happy.

A fantastic villa in a great location within easy reach of the central west Algarve. A very well appointed house extremely well equipped for large groups, has all the kitchen equipment you could ever need! Fantastic main and childs pool suitable for children of all ages. Outside BBQ and seating area are all you need for eating within the villa and great local restaurants are only a short drive away (2-3km). All bedrooms and bathrooms spotlessly clean making this spacious haven the ideal retreat for a family/group holiday.

Fantastic place the brochure doesn?t do the place justice it is extremely well furnished we looked at other villas in the area but they were no where near the standards of this place the 2 pools were perfect we visited Zoomarine all our party enjoyed it though I would recommend if you do the same take a picnic we had a excellent Chinese take away from Pera also ate out at a local fish restaurant which was quite nice we also travelled to Lagos great beaches and and excallent swimming in the sea I would recommend the supermarket at Lagoa we had 2 cars included in our package we upgraded to the bigger cars and also took out the collision waver insurance at #30 in the UK as the excess would have been #375 where as if you take it out over there its around 160 euros you can also get a welcome pack of food for when you arrive we did and unfortunately it wasn?t worth it at all this apart if you want a holiday that?s central and excellent accommodation that suits the whole family you cant go wrong
