This was the second time for my wife and the first for me at the Maritim Jolie Ville and we had a wonderful week's holiday. The hotel is excellent and provides a quiet haven away from the bustle of Luxor. The staff, without exception, are friendly and courteous. We particularly liked the quiet pool where there are no children or games allowed, but those wanting more activity can use the excellent infinity pool. The food in the buffet restaurant in the evenings was slightly disappointing, despite there being a very good choice, but the different theme each evening is a nice idea. We had one meal in La Fleur Restaurant which was excellent. The bungalow accommodation is comfortable and the rooms have all facilities required. The Thomson reps were helpful and visited the hotel every day. The flights were good and punctual. All in all a really enjoyable week's holiday and we fully intend to return to this hotel, hopefully next time for two weeks.
I have been to Luxor 12 times now the hotel I used to stay in has been demolished to make way for the new winter palace hotel, that will be built. This is the first time i've stayed in this hotel and wish I had stayed in it every time I went, the food the service the location the grounds everything was just first class can't wait to go back highly recommend this hotel it was excellent thanks maritime joille ville for a wonderful holiday in again my favourite place in the world magical luxor
