This was are 9th visit back to the sunrise, anybody looking for a beach holiday its perfect,the sea is very easy to get in and quite shallow. The resort is compact and mainly on one long street, with plenty of shops, resturants and bars. There can be a bit of noise of an evening with the live music but its only till just round 12. Rockafellows sports bar have some fantastic live acts of an evening and resturant island affair has great food at a resonable price, with a good family atmosphere. To be fair all the cypriot people are genuinely nice people and there is no hassle on the streets.For a compact holiday mostly on the flat its perfect. A big thanks to all at the sunrise beach hotel for making are holiday perfect, look forward to next year....

just returned sept 22nd and we had a great time, nice to have sunbeds alocated to rooms,no rushing down to get one. beach was right on doorstep,the rooms were cleaned every day we had b/b so we enjoyed some good meals out, diva's was excellent, you can get on a bus for one euro and go anywhere. the best hotel we have stayed in well recommended

choose a seaview room away from the main strip too loud in the early hours,you can feel like a non guest at times due to the high number of weddings .Rooms need sound proofing you can hear everyone,and yes all those wedding guests returning in the early hours with there children running up and down the corridoors.so you are kept up all night then maybe a lie in oh no there is a army of cleaners to make your holiday more restful.Iwould recomend plenty of booze or sleeping tabs.

we chose this hotel and resort to accommodate the needs of our elderly parents. The hotel and its facilities were spot on. all staff were attentive as was Mark, the Thomson rep on site. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis. Breakfast facilities were excellent providing a wide range of choice. Adjacent to the hotel were two restaurants which suited the needs of our parents perfectly, though there were many others in close proximity. Prices in the hotel were significantly higher than elsewhere - a point which many of our fellow guests commented upon. However, that is the price of quality service. in the various lounge and terrace bars, drinks and service were always accompanied by the extras - complimentary bowls of crisps and nuts. Maid service on our floor was exceptional. Each day we were greeted with a friendly comment and were asked if we needed any additional help for our parents. The hotel operate an excellent arrangement of allocating sunbeds for the duration of stay, meaning you dont have the usual fight for sunbeds. This really was a bonus for us with our parents. There is some room for negotiation though some people will never be satisfied. It was noticeable that there were fewer young families around meaning that, particularly in the garden area where our sunbeds were situated, it was relatively quiet. Situated centrally in the resort, the hotel is close to all amenities. This was another bonus as our parents are not particluarly mobile. we would certainly recommend the Sunrise Beach.

The hotel was fantastic clean, freindly, had plenty of things to do, in a great place right on the beach and in the middle of all restruants and has to nightclubs underground so no noise. I am normally a person to complain when im not happy with somthing and i could not complain about anything.
