Good points: Great location if you want to be away from crowds (5 minute bus trip or 40 minute beach walk to Alcudia town). Also, cheap buses (1.5 euro each) to c'an picafort and alcudia town. Nice hotel tending to cater for older generation/ retirees, but that's okay if you want peace and quiet (not really for party animals). Lovely beach literally a 2 minute walk through pathway from hotel - good option to staying round pool area all time. Staff friendliness - was the best feature of this hotel. Would go back here just for this reason. Well done to Rafael the restaurant manager, the great bar staff who never kept anyone waiting and kept a smile, and the cleaners ensuring rooms were kept fresh every day. Food was good, providing plenty of english version meals (steak and kidney pie, etc). Points of note: Swimming pool is far too cold to swim in and needs heating a bit to make more bearable. The house being built across the road at front of hotel became annoying towards the end of our ten day stay - we could not sit on balcony due to drilling/cutting noise, but we spent most time out of room anyway so we didn't let it bother us too much. Overall, would return and recommend this holiday for older people or those (like us in our late forties) wanting a quiet and peaceful holiday with a bit of evening entertainment, John and Lynn, South Derbyshire.
We returned to this hotel after a 4 year gap and we were favourably surprised. The entertainment was superb. Tribute acts to the Beatles and the Jersey boys were exceptional. It appeared that at least one row of tables and seats had been removed from the dining room which gave more room and a much more enjoyable dining experience. The rooms and corridors had been re-carpeted and had a much better appearance. We will return and we won't leave it four years.
