Dear Thomson HolidaysThank you for your e-mail asking if we had a nice holiday.Unfortunately if you had looked at our holiday details you will see that we never reached our destination as the accomodation had been overbooked, so instead of going to our chosen destination which we had painstakingly selected to suit our holiday needs and booked 10 months before we travelled, we were shipped out to another resort which had nothing in common with the resort we had booked and only told about this once we were on a boat in the middle of the Indian Ocean.So to answer your question No we did not have a nice holiday experience and were pretty much left to fend for ourselves while away even after phoning Thomson U.K. twice and being told it was not thomsons fault and eventually getting a call from the rep in the Maldives, nobody seemed interested in our situation.We however did think it was your fault as it is you we paid our money to !If you look at our record you will see we have travelled with Thomsons a lot over recent years but are extremely angry and upset with what happenened on our recent holiday and also concerned that you can send me an e-mail asking if I enjoyed myself which shows that you don't know what happenened.Come on Thomsons get a grip.I await your response !!!!!!
I cannot express what a fantastic island this is. The water villas are gorgeous, the food brilliant, the staff friendly and very attentive. I could not have wished for a better holiday. It certainly was the holiday of a life time, though I am saving very hard to go again, hopefully next year and all the following years!
just spent two week on cinnamon island and we had a really great time, we met some lovely people saff and other holiday guests. the staff could not do enough for you and always had a smile on their faces.if it is so good why have we said the overall result was only good had nothing to do with anything other then all inclusive was not as it sounds. you do need to take extra money with you as there are alot of extras.
this island is not for anyone disabled, if your in a wheel chair this island is not right for you. from the start you arrive by boat and getting off and on them at the jetty is near impossible. then if you get over that everywhere you need to go includes steps which do not have hand rail on them.if your disabled but not in a wheel chair then it depends on what you want while there.
would we go back? not sure maybe if a few things changed.

in the UK we have a designated department which deals with special needs. For future bookings if you do feel the need to advise them of any special assistance you may have., be it wheel chair assistance they would be happy to help advise on other maldivian islands which are more wheelchair friendly
