I would not recommend this resort for families with small children. We went with our young son, the meal times very not ideal times for children (breakfast starts at 8.00am and the restaurant evening meal starts at 6:30pm). The children's menu had a very limited choice but plenty of yogurts! There was plenty of junk food on offer in the Western Saloon during the afternoons. Not great for a 2 yr old. The nightlife, in the hotel, is very loud and can be heard in the rooms, although this stops at around 12:00am. However, the hotels opp the resort does carry on playing music until 4:00am. The aircon in the room, is that noisey, it can at times counteract the noise from outside. There was a couple of fights outside our hotel room, the Thomson rep did confirm the next day, there is a security guard based in the Beach Club resort, as these occasions do seem to occur regularly in the Beach Club Resort.

The hotel is large, with two very small lifts, if you have a buggy, there will always be a queue and quite a long wait. It can take quite a while to get from the pool to the restaurant

This resort is probably better suited to someone wanting a drinking holiday rather than a family friendly resort. Avoid the beach Club Resort at all costs!!

The excursions are very expensive, I would not recommend the Hippy Market, a complete waste of 40 euros .

we stayed here for 2 weeks, the best 2 week allinclusive holiday we,ve ever had. the thomson daytime entertainment started at 11am, and went on all day with something for all ages, and was different every day.The most friendly staff made you feel so wellcome were eager to make our holiday one to remember. Our five year old son went to the kids club on the second day, after that we could,nt keep him away from there, exelentkids club staff knew just how to keep them happy, safe secure, so we could relax by the pool.the bar staff were brilliant, friendly generous measures were given.a snack bar was open between meals, by the pool area, serving chips, burgers many other things. Icecream lollies were available allday by the pool.the food in the resteraunt was to a very high standard' varied every night. my only critisism, which is only a small one is.the lifts' they need more at busy times, 2 is not enough. all in all an exellent holiday would recommend it to everyone, 10 out of 10

Me and my wife very foolishly went here on our honeymoon. We went in September presuming all the children would be back at school. However we did not take into account that a lot of families don't worry too much about their kids going back to school on time. The same families are also generally flabby, pale, covered in terrible tattoos and spend the day drinking beer, chain smoking and shouting at their mis-behaving kids (who ignored them). During our stay theives were repeatedly found stealing from rooms during the day, which on one occasion lead to an angry mob of pink, beered up northern families chasing one thief down to the beach. My wife fell ill with a bug, recovered then I fell ill so badly we had to spend £120 for a doctor to see if I was o.k to fly back. I can still remember lying in the room with a fever listening to the kids clubs songs over and over again. As we left the hotel we saw a lady with the same illness me and my wife had being wheeled out to a waiting ambulance. We wrote to Thompson to ask for some small compensation towards the doctors fee but they never got back to us.

Come home on 9/7/10. Spent 11 nights, my partner, myself, 2x18,17 & 16 yr olds all had a great time, Thomson team all make sure you all enjoy. Rooms and hotel very clean.Plenty of stairs which being on 6th floor we used as our exercise but lifts available. Our only complaint would be the use of plastic cups day & night, could understand around pool area, but in upstairs bars?? this for us spoilt our enjoyment of a drink in the evening, but found a couple of bars outside which we enjoyed. All in all great value for money. Food ok always find something you would like.If on a tight budget you really need not spend a penny. So if like us taking your teenagers away you might find they smile for a while if you get my meaning...
