We got married in Marbella this year, and found this fantastic beach restaurant called TikiTano, they were AMAZING! even though we did not organize our hotels through them, you could if you wanted to, they took care of everything else, the bus service, the day before, the day after. It was a beautiful location, and we got married right on the beach with a beautiful ceremony. We also had our dinner at their mediteranean restaurant, and the staff were so very attentive. All for the price of 120 euro per person, incl. the open bar until the late hours!

The restaurant has an on site free wedding planning service, and I can recomend them to anyone. They are professional ad so very patient, even when I turned into bridezilla a few days before the wedding!!!

Marbella itself was absolutely breathtaking, we organized a day out in the old town, and the day was not long enough! Mind you, it gets very hot in Marbella in July and August, so keep that in mind when booking. We wanted our ceremoy at 15.00, but Tikitano advised us to do it later, and boy were they right! Even at 18.00 it was baking hot! Nevertheless, we were given water, fans and umbrellas to take home, and we could not have been happier!

Thank you Tikitano for a wonderful day!

the Estrella del mar is set back from the sea in peaceful surroundings which make you relax straight away.

Hotel staff very helpful and polite, service excellent. Hotel and rooms always kept clean. There was 24 hour security and the safe in the room was free which gave peace of mind.

there are three pools and all were clean although not the largest. sun beds comfortable and always enough.

we stayed bed and breakfast and the breakfast was lovely, lots of options.

the beach is just a short walk and is sandy and idealic, the are a couple of bar/restaurants on the beach which sells of food, but has beautiful views.

we really enjoyed our break here and would return next year.

the hotel is a little outside Marbella town and you a taxi to go into town.

The Vincci Estrella del Mar is a lovely Hotel situated near the Beach, but nothing esle to hand apart from the Lido Beach Bar and restaurant and the Estrella Del Mar Beach Club & Spa.

Excellent Food at this 5 star Hotel, in all the Hotel was faultless but 7KM east of Marbella Centre and 50 euros for a return Taxi to Puerto Banus.

So not in an ideal location if you are looking for local Bars and Restaurants, but Ideal if you do not plan to venture any further than the Hotel or the Beach at the bottom of the Road.

An enjoyable week with lovely hot sunshine. Whilst the Hotel was very good in hindsight it would have been better to have chosen a quieter hotel as there were many families staying with young children and my wife and I are retired. It was rather noisy in the area weher our room was situated with loud music being played on loudspeakers from 1100 in the morning and throughout the day.

This did not take away the very pleasing opportunity for time in the sun as we walked to the beach, 800m from the Hotel most days where it was very relaxing and often slightly cooler.

The journey to and from Bristol airport was very good and the onboard food was very saitisfactory. Overall an enjoyable holiday

Marbella Town, not to be confused with Marbella (which covers a lot of the coast) is a fantastic place for a holiday. After picking up the flight at Coventry Airport, basic but very serviceable for your needs and arriving at Malaga on time. The holiday begins in earnest. Through customs and out of the door, walk to the coach stop which is clearly marked. Every 40mins in summer and 90mins in winter this amazing service takes you to the heart of Marbella for 3.8 euros, along the high road with an amazing view of the coast.A local bus takes you to Avenue Ricardo Soriano for a single euro and the hotel we stayed is so central you could walk to the beach, walk to the old town, catch buses to Puerto Banus or Fuengarola, all with in 100 yards. Although we did not book through Thomson the fact that their flights made it easy and reasonable to enjoy a holiday in Marbella for less than £150.000 per. person.Marbella is the cleanest town I have been in, the streets are washed every night, the rubbish is collected every other night so there is no build-up or smell, every bar/cafe/restaurant is friendly and they all mainly speak English. The food is amazing and varied and the fish so fresh it is unbelievable. Beaches are clean and swept every morning to clear the rubbish, bars look out over beautiful beaches and the views across to North Africa in the evening are amazing, to see the Pillars of Hercules and the Atlas Mountains is phenominal. Trips run by english speaking tours operators go to Ronda, Gibralter and Sevilla are easily accessed through thr local weekly paper Sur (in English). All in all a briliant plao hoilday and when Thomson go to the EL Rodeo hotel as well, my life will be complete
