the hotel was sold to us as a family based hotel but due to 2 nightclubs opposite(goodfellas) which didnt close 3 out of the 10 nights we were there until 4 ami dont believe this hotel really is for families.i no that numerous people complained about the noise to reception or our thompson rep but nothing was done.also having no air con was very uncomfortable during night time but we knew this before booking.overall i would visit alcudia again but would definatley not stay at the same hotel and doubt in future if i will travel with thompsons again.could you please let me no how to apply for som kind of refund on our holiday as the above mentioned really put dampner on which will be our only family holiday this year. thankyou

Alcudia Pins Aparthotel was excellent for families, in fact, its pretty much families only. The pools are fab, with fun for all. We had a great time hiring bicycles with child seats attached, the side roads are perfect for a safe ride. Younger children will love the themed parades and cheesy entertainment. Apartments better than we expected with all basic kitchen equipment, lovely sized balcony. Cannot fault the maid service.

I would say there is not much going on in the immediate area within walking distance, hence hiring bikes, although the beautiful beach is right on your doorstep.

Onto food, there is a wide selection on offer for breakfast but we felt other meals were lacking somewhat in variation (repetitive desserts). We were very relieved when Tex Mex evening arrived. There is an option to escape the buffet restaurant via the Italian restaurant or BBQ which are much recommended. The all inclusive system is a bit messy as regards to times of use, for example the BBQ bar would not serve all inc. after 6pm, unless you had reserved a table to dine. The queues at the beer garden are rather long at peak times and service can be slow.

Overall we had a stress free holiday & all wanted to stay longer.

Overall good resort .Supberb beach with long flat promenade.Scenic canal system and lakes. The only big downfall we found was the very expensive sun bed hire. Most of the time the sun beds were empty because of this. Most people bought a lilo from local shops as we did.

We stayed at this hotel in july '09 (being the second time we have been here). The food it is ab fab. and the hotel reception staff speak good english and are always very friendly and helpful. It had everything we needed - beach on your doorstep, bike hire, pony rides across the road, which both my son's love. and the bus stop is just across the road if you fancy going into the busier centre, as this hotel is set a little out of the way. But we like it that way. Can not be doing with being pestered whilst out for a stroll!!! Would cert. go back again in the future.

It was a great atmosphere the people in Alcudia were lovely I would definitely go there again there was tonnes of things to do you could go in a submarine and there was a brilliant water park. This year were going to Calas De Majorca I am a bit worried about going there after reading some very bad reviews. The food was lovely, especially the pizza I would recommend it for family holiday's, kids would love it there is lots of spars there. It was quite hot the hottest temperature 36c so it will be hot. The beach is brilliant. We were going to go on a submarine but it was cancelled due to bad weather. We went on a tour around the island (it was pretty boring) but I enjoyed the tunnel bit we went inside the tunnels in the mountains. the hotel was great and I would go there again.
