We loved our stay at Hotel La Favorita! Our room was perfect for us, providing quiet nights and a balcony for when the weather was sunny and warm enough. We would have liked a few more English channels on TV but this was a minor inconvenience! The rooftop terrace was absolutely delightful, both for its comfort and for the incredible views it gave us of the Bay of Naples and the surrounding countryside. We enjoyed dining on the rooftop terrace, both for lunch and dinner, occasionally, and were treated with so much courtesy and genuine friendliness - the maitre d'Roberto was outstanding in his care of us! And all the waiters were remarkably pleasant and so easy to deal with. We found Hotel La Favorita an outstanding hotel in every way and look forward to staying there again someday!

I cant agree on the 4 star rating for this hotel , it should 5! From the first greeting at the lobby, to the moment you enter your hotel room, you will be impressed. The hotel staff are genuinely helpful and put a lot of emphasis on a first class service. The decor around the hotel combines italian old style and a modern culture. The rooms are very big and with an impressive bathroom. If you want to splash out , you must stay here.

La Favorita is a lovely hotel. But we have a complaiant about Thompsons. We paid £200 for a room upgrade. We were assured by Thompson in Sale and by phone that yhis was for a De-luxe room with a sea view. We were given a superior room not a deluxe and it did not have a sea view. We complained to the hotel they showed us 2 other rooms but these were not deluxe either. All de-luxe rooms were taken. The fault lies with Thompson for assuring us that we were paying this extra money for a de-luxe room which was not the case.
