Was very worried when read the reviews before going, but apart from the tiredness of the outside and the tiles off the bottom of all the pools, we had a great time. The staff of the hotel were very nice and helpful, the rooms were cleaned on a daily basis and towels and bedding changed on a regular basis. We stayed at the pools most days and yes the sun beds are in need of a good clean but we just bought a cheap Lilo and laid this on the sun bed and got on with our holiday. We cannot comment on the food as we went self catering, but there are lots of Restaurants to choose from, our favourite one was Restaurant Sotavento near the Harbour, the staff made you very welcome and the food was excellent. You should visit the Rock Island Bar this is a MUST live music every night and it is always different every time we went. We did two excursions - Catalanza Catermarran was fantastic half day the crew were great, we have been on this twice before from lanzarote same crew could not fault. The other trip was to the Music Hall Tavern also went twice before when in Lanzarote last year and all shows were differant very tongue in cheek drag show very pretty men some with a figure to die for!! If you do want to have breakfast out, go to the Siagon Lily Cafe just round the corner in the Las Palmera shopping centre great food. We will be going back to Lobos Bahia Apartment again, so go and make your own mind up you will be pleasantly surprised, this was one of our best holidays because we looked beyond the peeling paint and missing pool tiles and enjoyed our holiday.

excellent beaches, shops and a good choice of restraunts. lobas bahia aparthotel very dissapointed wth cleanliness of bathroom, bath had been hand painted with hairs in the paint, had to buy cleaner to clean before useing. arrived early hours after plane delay to find bedding sheets torn and holes in plus dirty marks ,which were changed next day after complaining. nice swimming pools, shame about all the tiles comming off. towells were often threadbare. just found everything tatty at lobas bahia.

I will start with Corralejo... its a very quiet area. This was our first time to Fuerteventura and it will be our last. Nowhere opened for breakfast until 10/10.30am, with 3 young children this wasnt good for us as they were hungry by 8.30am. Other holidays we have been on, we are able to eat 1st thing. Beaches are ok, nice breeze so becareful as you cant tell how hot it actually is so is easy to burn! Lovely beach bar called Wikikki that does lovely food with lovely views. Penny Lane does a lovely Sunday dinner and a massive full English breakfast with very friendly staff. Oasis park is a lovely zoo that is a brilliant day out, my children held a snake and rode a camel. We took a trip to Lanzarote for the day, took about 40mins on the ferry. Fuerteventura is very expensive!!! Now for the complex.... We got a good deal for 2 adults and 3 children and wasnt expecting much due to the price (you get what you pay for). Tiles missing in the pool, while we were there we saw an adult cut his foot on a loose tile in the pool. Paint all chipped on and in apartments, sofa bed is just 2 singles and very uncomfortable. Apartment was covered in ants...DONT LEAVE ANYTHING ON THE FLOOR. We woke up every morning with bites all over us, not sure if it was the ants or bedbugs...after talking to others we found out that nearly everyone had been biten by something. Cant comment on food or entertainment as we ate out every day. We used Lobos Bahia to just sleep there. This is no good for anyone wanting a holiday with lots going on or wanting 5* and dont pay too much to stay here. We have 2-3 holidays a year and always stay in 3* but were very disappointed in this 3*...I wouldnt even give it a 1*!!! It could be a lovely complex and is in the centre of everything but this was Such a disappointing holiday. We never expect too much as we always say a holiday is what you make it but unfortunatly with this holiday the best part was actually coming home!!!

Accommodation ideally situated as you come out of the entrance you are on the main stretch. Lovely restaurants nearby or you can walk further down towards the harbour where you will find many restaurants offering all kinds of food. Accommodation itself has one big pool and then a quiet pool which is where our accommodation was. The room was cleaned every day - towels changed twice in the week. As you leave the accommodation and turn right up the road there is a bus stop where the bus will take you directly to the main sand dunes which are fantastic - sand is gorgeous and views are amazing. Will definitely be back.
