on arrival at the resort we had to wait about twenty minuets in a packed foyer , which was extremely small, so that each traveller could fill in form about thier passports and then wait to have our passports photocopied, when you have been travelling since 5.30am and its nearly 3 in the afternoon , not a good start, our apartment was not ready so we had to wander round as restaurant was close at 3! speaking of the resturant , most meal times were a bit like a zoo! it was only early season but you had to line up (a bit like school ), the food was nice but you didnt have a choice as where to eat , only 1 other very small on site one included in our all inclusive deal. W e like to have a bottle of wine and bit of variety, the staff would whip away your plates as soon as you has finished, the ice creams for our daughter were inclueded ! however not the ones advertised on the board near the bar those had to be bought , you could only have the little tubs to be eaten in the restaurant! a little misleading i found, then there was the all inclusive drinks! not in pints as we thought , the cups are small plastic beakers which they fill with ice! the train if thought being that you hopefully wont be bothered to go to the one bar area that caters for all 3 pools! hence saving them money, you could keep goung back but very often the wait was a long one , goodness know what it will be like in peak season! there is a kids club on site of which our daughter really enjoyed, however 2 of her sessions we had to apy 7 euros for ! apparently for resourses, on the up side apatments are clean but very basic, ours was extremely old and it looks likt they have updated alot so maybe that will be next , pools lovely very cold ! if your children get travel sick transfer time was about an hour quite windy roads, be prepared.Cala n forcat was nice little place but only beach if you can call it that is a 20-30 min walk to cala n blanes and is more of a cove than a beach probably about 50ft wide by 50ft long but pituresque nice little train does round trip for 7 euros each . We felt that for us there should have been more choices of places to eat for the all inclusive guests, however, we did discover that this paticularaparthotel has o ly just started all inclusive ! hopefully they will imrove, one more thing the late nigh snacks ! yuk stale bread warm ham and sweaty cheese ! thats it .
