Just got back from a lovely relaxing holiday in Villa Zalikon. It is very quirky, quaint and homely, it was better than we expected. The only bug bear was the damned mosquitoes at night in the bedroom, they drove us mad!! I definitely recommned a MOSQUITO NET!! We were careful to keep windows upstairs closed during the day but the little beggars still found their way in. The proof is on the walls, pebble dashed with mozzies. The villa is very private in the middle of a banana plantation and fruit orchard, all you hear are the birds, a goat in the background and the occasional farmer going past in his truck. I would definitely recommend it. We went into Coral bay each evening for drinks and meals, all the restaurants we visited were very good, not one bad meal and the cypriots were very friendly. If you visit the beach, go past the first two big signs for Coral bay beach and continue to the very end when you come to a hotel and visit the beach here, much cleaner and nicer!! Score 9 out of 10, 10 out of 10 if not for the mozzies!!
