I will mention the one downside first and that was a lack of thomson rep presence at the dalaman airport on arrival. We came out of the airport and was greeted by a colum of taxi drivers, thomas cook reps and other holiday tour reps, but not a thomson rep to be seen. Eventually we found them huddled in a corner chatting, they pointed us in the direction we had to go and our coach number, we made it to the coach by the skin of our teeth, much later and we would have missed the transfer. The hotel is set in a beautiful location, room was clean and roomy but the beds are a bit on the hard side, however not so hard that you cant sleep. The staff are friendly and helpful and dont stop smiling, nothing seems to be too much trouble for them, as i found out one morning. I wanted a cup of coffee before we went to breakfast and my room looked out over one of the swimming pools which had a bar area, there was a person there (who i later found out was the security guard) and asked him for a coffee, he said ok and then started to look at the coffee machine, then this other man came up and they started talking to each other, rather animatedly, by this time i realised that he doesnt work at this particular area and said dont worry, he waved away my objections with a smile and said he would do it, between them they managed to make me a coffee. In england we would have been told its not my job description go and see so and so...... The food was brilliant and was always varied, i loved the fish especially the swordfish. there were 3 other a la carte restaurants, which we didnt use, as the food in main restaurant was always good. An earlier comment mentioned about the food swimming in oil, i didnt find this and the oil that they did use was olive oil so is not bad for you anyway. The deserts were in some cases a little on the sweet side, and they dont seem that bothered by colourants, but it was always presented to a high standard, until parents let their kids hack at it. The beach is lovely and private, but is very stony so good sea shoes are a good idea. Plenty of sun beds and the sea was always lovely. The pool side sun beds were a little more sparse, but that didnt really bother us too much as we preferred the beach anyway. All in all a very good hotel, brilliant staff, delicious food. We will definately return.

well where shall I begin .we were welcomed at the airport by our very friendly rep called Jane who guided us straight to our waiting coach. our drop off was first and only took 45 mins max. when we got to reception staff were very helpful . The driver of the golf buggy was a bit of a loony very fast , very funny. our rooms where comfy and very clean. you then get the late night supper which was ok but not great. from our first day onwards every thing just got better. the food was very nice and a good selection but I was greedy and tried to eat it all in one go .lol.this resulted in me putting on 7lbs as I had a lovely pudding with every meal .The drinks where free flowing and you could have tea, coffee, juice, and local alcohol as and when you requied it . water by the bottle was also freely available, which was wonderful.we had plenty to do although some things that were not included cost quite a bit of money like wake boarding, and other water sports. They were great fun though.every day was full of entertainment , you could choose to join or not join. Entertainment team work hard to keep you happy day and night. The chickens that roam freely are funny and dont pester you, good for bug control.you dont have to leave the complex if you just want a lazy ,relaxing ,sun soaked ,food filling,do nothing wind down from the stresses of every day life . This is the place at this time of year.not many english though but thats not a problem as staff speak every language and its fun trying to comunicate with . russian ,german ,turkish etc. market on tuesday in fethiye was fun but a little annoying being pestered by stall holders to buy their genuine fake quality crap Their words not mine.to sum up we all had a fab time in the beutiful surrounding with lovely food, staff and accomodation. we will be going back next year. the brochure doesnt really show you how beutiful the complex is. IT DOES WHAT IT SAYS ON THE TIN. :-)

Thomson trips - Dalyan Discovery Check-out and the Chill out Cruise were excellent and good value, the rep Rosie was fantastic, full of local knowledge and history! The hotel was very clean all staff worked hard to make your holiday enjoyable a special thanks to Stevie Jones on the entertainment team, plenty of activities running all day. The evening entertainments were okay for the children .The animation team were very friendly and they made time to speak to you and made you feel welcomed. If you wanted to be by the pool then you will need to get up early around 07:00 to get the better spots. however, that happens everywhere you go when our freinds the Gemans and Russians are about. The Meals were okay, but a more varied choice of meats would have more acceptable. There were plenty of choices of salads and friuts and a fantastic selection of bread. I do recommend that you visit the local restrurant - Cinaralti Kebap about 200 metres up the main road and make sure you do not eat to much during lunch time. Health problems did not seem to be a problem except for the Mozzy's, which you would experience in any hot climate. So make sure you take your repellant. The rooms were not sound proof you could hear next doors TV. However, I only spend 7 Hours a day in the room and most of that I was asleep. If you need anything then see Dell Boy in the Shoping Complex, very helpful. The Fish Restaurant was not what I expected, I expected to be able to get Lobster/Crab and Prawns, But had only fish, I would have been prepared to pay extra so not quite up to the 4 Star or USA market yet. Overall, a really nice place with lots to do, a beautiful country clear blue seas and georgous beaches. I am intending to visit again next year, So improve the selection of meats and add prawns and lobster to the fish restrurant Menu, this will make my holiday complete.

The Thomson trips and activities were well worth it especially the Dalyan Discovery Check-out and theChill out Cruise, reps really helpful and friendly, Rosie was fantastic, full of local knowledge and history! We didnt realise that they prefer pounds and euros, and you get a better exchange rate if you pay in sterling over liera. And make sure you bring #10 per person for the visa at the airport as they will not except any other currency! The hotel had lots to do, activities running all day, archery, airgun shooting, beach volleyball, tennis ect. The evening entertainments were quite cheesey but i'm sure children would love it. The animation team really friendly. The food was OK, through everyone we spoke to (including ourselves) got upset stomachs, not sure what from. They cater for everyone's needs though it is all cooked in A LOT of oil (not good for the health conceous). The bread is delicious though, so fresh! And so much food as well, available from 7.00am to midnight! The restaurant was always packed, and not always easy to get a table, and unless you were there at the start of service, the tables were not that clean. Lovely music playing through dinner. The fish restaurant was not as expected, its a set meal, and the Turkish restaurant was shut at the weekend so we missed that. Also quite difficult to get a sun bed unless you get your towels out by about 8:15. The best spots go by about 7:30! After 10 and there is no hope really. The hotel could do with a few more beds and towels. A trip to Fethiye is well worth it, especially the amputheatre and tombs from which there are gorgeous views. And really wished we had gone to a Turkish bath, but so much to do and so little time! There is a mosquito problem, they come under the room doors at night as well, so we had to put our towels along the bottoms of the doors. Bring mozzy spray and lots of suncream! Overall, a really nice place with lots to do, a beautiful country and fantastic things to keeps you occupied! clear blue seas and georgous beaches with lots of history.

if you love Butlins style entertainment then this is the hotel for you. it was very noisy around the pool with pool games and terrible music over the loudspeakers. the grounds were well maintained and attractive. The room was clean but basic and the balcony was very small with no view. Some of the entertaiment was a little too near the mark for a family hotel with games such as striptease. Also one of the evening entertainment shows were lude. The food was generaly ok but nothing spectacular. I would say that the guests were 90% Russian so we were a minority so don't ecpect to queue for anything, they just push in front of you. We really should have chosen more carefully.
