Fantastic holiday the only let down was the Thomson flight to Sharm. It was like a budget airways a 5hour flight with no entertainment on it, not one film even though the seats had screens on them. I am glad we were adults flying as we could read a book, but for the other people on the plane who had children I do not know how they kept the children happy and occupied on the flight.
This was a great choice. The hotel is not far from the aiport, about 10 mins. It is extremely clean and pristine. The food at every sitting was excellent with plenty of choice. The waiters are very attentive and cant do enough and are very friendly. Everything here for a fantastic holiday and would thoroughly recommend it. This is the second time I have stayed here (I went last year in May) and found it to be a very relaxing place to be.
Had the most amazing time ever at this hotel. we met some great people in the shops, mostafa and sammy and adam who sells excursions!!! After reading some mixed reviews we werent sure what to think as i was only 17 and it was my first holiday away ... But i would go back every year it was absolutely beautiful, has everything you want there, with 5 pools, great lunch bar, jeti, nightime music ... There was something to do every night and i would recoomend to anyone! If you can stay in the hotel, narma bay is great but if you go ignore everyone and dont walk off alone. Alot of stories have been told about narma bay but just becareful dont wear revealing clothes either. Dont get on any camels or take pictures. one boy said it was free then tried charging us! The police take there sides. Soho square is gorgeous, absolutely amazing!!! Food not amazing but definetely edible and you have to be experimental. Lunch is best then we just got take aways like delivery mcdonalds. Yummy!!!! The burgers are huge, pools are gorgeous, hotel and workers lovely, be careful of the russians there either fat or weird =]. But overall 100%
I read the reviews and thought do i realy want to go to this hotel? we did and had a fab time! the hotel was in my opinion a 4*, the room a 3* only because the bathroom needed up dating. The food was good, no Tummy bugs! we went to the Italian restaurant not great but not bad. Staff were lovely everywhere. Pools all looked great. Not realy any entertainment in hotel, plenty in Naarma bay( u can go by taxi easily} if you want Blackpool in the sun. If you want excursions, you are in for a treat, we did "Ultimate Desert Experience" and the VIP Cruise, loved them both, real value for money, other guests all said "their trips were all great", our rep was a lovely man, and great at his job! THE SEA IS AMAZING, if u carn't snorkle, learn{ its easy} TRULY OUT OF THIS WORLD. If you need some R & R this is just the place, loved it. My only regret was we only had 1 week there{we didn't want to come home}. No Russians when we were there{they are not liked by anyone that have met them}. My only caution would be, it is HOT HOT HOT, even at night, but Air Con worked well. So go and enjoy, there is no need to worry at all. A word for the ladies to save on packing! nothing to elaborate needed to wear at night. Have a great time, wish we were going with you. xx
Have travelled extensivley and have never before been treated with such disregard by staff who seem to have forgotten that we holiday makers are the ones who pay their wages. If we did not use the hotels there would be no jobs for them. Our room was kept clean by our room boy who was thorough and pleasant all the time. The waiters in the restaurant were polite and cleared everything away between courses with a smile, but the bar staff were beyond surly and getting a drink was the hardest work I've ever had to do. They would ignore you, then get the order so slowly that there would be a queue a mile long behind you. If you were sat at a table and managed to get a waiter to take your order they just did'nt turn up with the order. This happened on a nightly basis and everyone that you spoke to complained, as we did to the rep who said she had no trouble getting served!!! We have stopped at numerous hotels in Egypt and have always sung everybodys praises as we have always been really well looked after and have returned again and again but we will never return to this hotel even if the holiday was free. On a plus side reception staff were helpful and the staff in the Italian restaurant were very pleasant and polite. It ia a shame that all we remember about this hotel is the way we were treated in the bar, and the money we spent on taxis getting out of the place.
