The Tahiti is a lovely clean welcoming hotel. Nothing too much trouble, receptionist Simone is wonderful and her English is excellent, always a pleasure to go there. Rooms are very elegant and the views amazing from almost all the rooms. You should see the foyer and outside seating areas. Breakfast/brunch is good, all nationalities catered for and very friendly staff, you even get champagne for breakfast. Went out of season this time and really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, all Formentera beaches are amazing, clean turquoise water, especially Levant and Voga Maria. Lesley the Thomson Rep is great, the transfer, meet and greet always exceptional and she is a mine of information regarding Formentera. We will be back again and again and again. Thank you Thompson for yet again a carefree exceptional holiday.
i could write reams but nothing in words can describe possibly the best holiday we have ever had. the flight, the accomodation, the rep,the location, but above all formentera particularly es pujols.we enjoyed so much that as soon as we got home i went to book for next year but i cannot have a flight from cardiff for the tahiti .yet i can have a flight on the same dates to the insotel in mijorn, does the tahiti not like welsh visitors. come on thompson explain, its the same island and there were vacancies. from elation to deflation in one day.
We have stayed in Formentera for over 10 years many times at this hotel but unfortunately this hotel is now getting very popular, too expensive and too slick. The pool is noisy with lots of unsupervised kids and the resort and hotel is mostly populated with noisy Italians with their scooters frequenting adequate but very overpriced restaurants. Gone are the days of peace and tranquility even in the shoulder season. The hotel is very nice, very clean and the staff are friendly but it is way too expensive for what it is. The restaurant now even stops you taking your breakfast croissant and coffee onto the terrace because of abuse of the buffet for lunchtime sandwich making! We probably won't go back, particularly as Thomson has no seaview rooms- we are told these have to be booked direct with the hotel.
Pam and I have been to Formentera many times but this was the first time at Es Pujols and Hotel Tahiti. The resort and island are fantastic and the hotel staff could not have made us more welcome. A truly memorable holiday. Thank you Thomson.
