If your after a hotel within walking distance of shops, beach and nightlife etc then I wouldn't stay at St George but if your after a better than average, good value for money hotel, and don't mind taxis or (FREE) shuttle buses then this is the one for you.

Excellent hotel, very spacious clean rooms with an enormous balcony and even bigger shower! Beds are huge and very comfortable.

Good food plenty of choice, large dining room and a large outside dining area. Worth visiting Chez Pascal restaurant, it was excellent, 4 of us had 3 courses, all had fillet steak, unlimited drinks, cost us £38! Great views over the hotel, although a little dark at the tables (lit by candles), romantic though! We went twice.

There is a new beach for the hotel but the 3 Corners Kiroseiz beach is the best by far, you wont see half as many fish at the St George beach. Kiroseiz is £4 per person, and the hotel now offers a free shuttle bus. Also the restaurant is better at the Kiroseiz beach.

As we were leaving the hotel was putting the finishing touches to the gym, looked good, not sure if free or if a small charge is payable.

All staff were the best we have ever experienced, so friendly and very approachable. If you take any underwater pictures then defo take them to the camera guy at the hotel, he is so nice and very helpful. The shops were good, few items were actually cheaper than in Namma Bay. Again, staff very friendly, no hassle to buy either.

Pools were great, we preferred the quieter one with the jacuzzi. No problems in getting a sunbed, although the later in the day you go there may not be loads together, but we could always find one or two and move them to where we wanted them.

Evening entertainment not up to much, but ok. It was nice to sit around the pool bars chatting to other people and the staff. Namma bay is great for a night out anyway, loads of lovely bars (Camel bar upstairs is a must, low settees and candles etc, amazing views) or even just a wander around the shops.

There is an outside bar (cant remember name) where you can smoke the sheesh pipes, it had a big screen tv for the footie while we were there, and has a nice bar, but you have to pay at this bar, its not part of your all inclusive, every other bar is. The Le Bleu pool bar (think that's the name) was nice to sit around at night but we found the glasses were sometimes dirty and were only quickly washed under a tap, this seemed to be at the busier times.

Well we have just got back, after reading some of the reviews we were slightly worried, all in all a good clean hotel, sheets and towels changed daily, staff are really friendly, food was ok but got a little reptative the second week, we went out to Namma Bay a few nights we went to the Hard Rock Cafe which was really good and we also went for an indian, the sea water is like tap water but We had bad reports about st george beach so we used the kiozie which was fine and the all inclusive carried on there. Take Plenty of stuff for upset tummys and Mozzie spray they are everywhere.
Hope you enjoy the hotel as much as we did.

Overall hotel very good, bedrooms very spacious and clean. Good pools, bars well stocked. Good variety of dishes breakfast, dinner and evening meal with delicious cakes available for all of you with a sweet tooth. Free bus to beach hourly. Agian bar and resturant good. Excellent for snorkelling we took great underwater pics just on the right hand side at the end of the beach. Get u're snorkels ready!! Advisable to wear some beach shoes can be bought in UK or at hotel. Bus also available to Na'ama Bay good for evening out as hotel entertainment not so good believe was new team so it may improve. Overall recommended. Also recommend fly to ciaro we had fantastic day!!

All we expected & more! So much so that we are going back in August. The staff are wonderful, really friendly, helpful & fun. Excellent quality, beautiful beach and close enough to Naama Bay for shopping, bars & more beaches.

Just come back from st george, it was beautiful, rooms very clean as was all the complex, very hot, it got up to 48 degrees whilst we were there.
The hotel beach which can be reached via free minibus is lovely but if you pay for a taxi(£4.00 return)to the kiroseiz beach, you can go snorkeling from the jetty and it is amazing, a turtle swam right below us!!
All the staff were fantastic and not leery at all, the entertainment was not too good at night but that is our only fault, if you are going on holiday for a great suntan and company and excellent value for money then don't hesitate in going to st george.
