January weather brilliant cloudless sky, sunshine all day. Hotel - room, staff, and facilities excellent, food good, location not so good, satellite TV shows BBC World Service which has little home news and is no substitute for Sky News, U.K. daily newspapers are a day late and cost #3, Sharm El Sheikh has an excellent modern airport but is a disaster for the traveller with too many flights both at arrival and departure overwhelming the facility. No reps. are allowed inside the airport building so brace yourself and be prepared for a nightmare experience.
what a fantastic place to go and stay, sunshine everyday, the hotel was st george three corners absolutely brilliant there was 3 of us went. The rooms are fitted out with coordinated furniture, our room was large and spacious and the bathroom was lovely with shower cleaned every day. clean towels, the food was great, what a selection of choices, staff are so helpfull, you only have to ask if you need anything, st george also have there own private beach which they have a bus that takes you there and the food is also served at the beach, because its all inclusive you get the same at the beach as you would at hotel including drinks, what more could you ask for, if your into paragliding or snorkling or looking thru a glass bottomed boat to view beautiful coral reefs with stunning fish its definately a place to go, or if you want just to chill its great. The bus runs every half hour to take you back to hotel also shops at beach. Definately recommend this hotel, its visited by all ages and not noisy. There is some entertainment at night. There are also some shops in the hotel. we would definately go back. I would rate this hotel 9 out of 10.
the hotel is old but well decorated.the staff & management 1st class. my wife is disabled but after sending a e-mail informing them a wheel chair was waiting for us.we got a ground floor room fully fitted for anybody that was disabled.ramps are on most stairs.the resturant staff were waiting to open doors and show us to a suitable table.the pool area was easily got to out of our bedroom patio door.the only bad thing was next door was a power station what could be noisey at times. over all it was a very enjoyable stay. tony/eileen xmas 2008.
hated most of the staff at the hotel just walk by you, or leave you standing at the bar and keep talking to each other instead of helping you, food very poor and not much to do unless you intended to pay for most things after you have already paid for a ALL inclusive holiday, you even had to pay for ice cream etc. we will never go to this hotel ever again if you would like a good holiday please use jaz marabel beach hotel , went there 2 years ago and it was great, best thing since sliced bread, only treid this hotel because it was suppost to have many things for kids, only it did not, sorry for being honest!!!!!!!!!!
Excellent hotel, room very good, food better than expected, staff friendly, facilities could not be faulted. Only down side for us was location: hotel is sited inland on a dual carriageway and it's really too far to walk to any amenities. Having said that there is a free shuttle bus to the beach and taxis are cheap/plentiful. We got the impression that many people didn't bother to leave the hotel at all! Airport was a disaster: too many flights arriving/departing at same time completely overwhelmed the staff and made for a nightmare experience. Weather brilliant: superb sunshine all day and still pleasant in the evening. Would we go back? YES.
