been to club turban twice now,went last year end of april,and loved it.......this time on my recommendation my mother,her partner,my sister and husband came with us. the holiday was great all round and would love to go back again,have also stayed at mares 5 times as well,hotel next door. i have only one thing to complain about,and its a great shame to do so,but you need to know,as i and many others were seriously angry about it.....we had just finished dinner,in the outside dining area by the beach,just having coffee,when we heard a large group of children sounding like indians,chasing a man through the dining area,he out run them,so the children were either told to or decided to paint the faces of diners with various coloured paint,i had 3 yellow lines right across my face,my mother and partner were covered,inc their clothes,and also my t shirt,my mother is in her 70s and her partner 80,this all happened so quickly,and i had to physically restrain and shout at the children to stop,my girlfriend also did this,my mother decided to go and shower,and we did not see them again till the evening.we could have been dressed to go out ....i can only say it was a good thing my sister was not there,as it would have been very nasty.my girlfriend and myself then went to the decking area to see many more people washing off paint,who were also unhappy. we came on this holiday to relax and chill out, its just a shame something like this happened,as my mother and partner will not be going back. i was not going to complain,as i like the hotel alot,and it was just a prank,but as you asked for a review here it is, apart from that i cant complain at all.
Arrived early in the morning and we were offered soup and sandwiches very nice but we were so tired went straight to bed. The room was lovely but was quite a climb up a hill as it was what they called a villa which was not attached to the main hotel.a single bed and a king not much wardrobe space but we managed. Nice side sea view from the balcony. The hotel is right on a shingle beach with great views of Marmaris and there are loads of sunbeds right on the beach front. Restaurant ,bars and outside areas. were very nice and the beach bar was great. The drinks were fine and the wine wasnt bad. Food was good, hot or continental breakfast,nice fresh salads,good soups and a good selection of hot food the grilled sea bass was lovely with similar in the evening.The desserts were like canapes so you didnt feel guilty tasting 2 or 3 with a lovely cup of coffee. The entertainment was good with live music at the beach bar after the show. Location was great took a bus to Marmaris and to Icmiler they were walkable but it was so hot we decided to take the lazy option Shops and Restaurants minutes from the hotel. We would go back and would recommend this hotel for both singles and families
Club turban is immaculate and in a great location between both Marmaris & Icmeler. Not really suitable for non abled bodies due to steep steps & hills to climb to the outer apartments (we were in these, asked for ground floor for parents as mum has bad legs but couldn't put her in the main hotel so she had to climb the hill every day) Food was plentiful and quite varied but catered more for the europeans than the british, saying that the alacarte restaurant served great snacks, wraps, burgers etc between 12noon & 3pm in the afternoon. The hotel was very, very clean and in beautiful surroundings, lots to do, great clean pool, excellent for children. I would definitely go back, overall we were very pleased with club turban.
