We had not stopped in a villa before so this was a new experience for us. The villa was very nice, very traditional with beautiful gardens. It had a very homely feel to it although it would have benefitted from bigger windows to let in more light! The only concerns i did have was the bars on the windows both upstairs and down limited access to one escape route if there had been a fire. Although we had booked knowing it was a rural location we did feel a bit vunerable at night as there was no lighting along the road upto the villa and it was a little isolated, however this was great in the day as it was very private. The villa gardens and pool were very well kept and exceptionally clean.
We went into peurto pollensa every night for something to eat and a drink which was lovely. It had plenty of restaurants and bars. Tex mex and liitle italy were excellent. The beach is also very nice at peurto pollensa. We did venture into alcudia which was great in the day but unless you like blackpool i would not recommend it at night. Formentor is worth a visit and so is the old town of pollensa (20 mins walk). We had a walk up the 365 steps to the church which was lovely.
Overall we had a great holiday with lots of freedom to do our own thing as we had the car for 2 weeks.
