Well the resort is lovely the apartment was so clean i was worried after reading previous reviews.I couldnt fault it at all so fresh and clean. was very quiet due to the time of year not many kids to play with but the kids went in the pool (it was freezing but they didnt mind ! i did though !) The supermarkets are so expensive and restuarants i think this is generally with the euro ! we were paying #1.50 for a can of pop and #2.50 for an icecream ! i have never spent so much money on a family holiday. We did go to try the food in the restaurant on the 1st night it looked totally unapetitising chis were stone cold and lots dried up! headed straight for reception for my 40 euros refund (2 adults and 2 kids) they gave it me back no problem.Didnt try it again so could have been a one off ! i dont think id return here until the euro returns back to 1.50 to pound its just too expensive ! we all had a dairy milk chocolate #5.50 ! pack of small maltesers #1.70!ridiculious ! take plenty of money and dont go over on luggage so many getting stung on the way back not way there surprise!lots of cats around the resort my kids loved the black and white one felix !

Thats where fabulous finishes, the room was damp and had mould on the walls, instead of the upheaval of changing rooms i decided to clean the walls myself in the bedroom as my husband was convinced that it was aggravating his asthma. That improved things but by the end of the week the mould was back. We were also plagued by small ants so be careful not to leave any food out or uncovered, a tip is to take some zip lock bags with you. Despite these gripes, overall the holiday was okay, the centre of the resort is about a twenty minute walk downhill and the walk back isn't too bad providing you haven't got shopping. Don't worry though there are plenty of taxis and they are only 2-3 euros. Tv rental costs 6 euros a night but we were aware of this before we booked so took our laptop and some DVD's so evening entertainment was sorted for us as we are not club types. One point worth mentioning is that you can get a code from reception for 2 euros to access the internet in the lobby area on your laptop, much better than the 1 euro per 10 minutes for internet access at the internet point. The food in the resort was good, steak houses chinese restaurants, street front bars and tapas restaurants just about everywhere and all reasonably priced. Pizza from the on site snack bar next to the bowling lanes was very good, big enough for two and only 6 euros. The weather in Feb/ March was variable as expected but most days temps around 23-25 degrees and quite comfortable providing you get out of the wind. Overall good value for money considering what we payed and a good winter break to get away from the dreary British winter.

Arrived at apartments, not very well lit at night and room numbers not very easy to find. Five lovely pools. We did upgrade to All inclusive as did find it to be expensive. We were there for two weeks and in this time there were SEVEN APARTMENTS BROKEN INTO. Rooms ok but alot of damp on the walls. Staff friendly (well some). food was ok, entertainment not bad but the club bar was almost empty every night. Had a great time in the Flintstones bar off the complex. Will not be a place that I would retun to.

My boyfriend and I booked a last min deal to the oasis papagayo and we wasn?t disappointed. On arrival on the 7 Jan we were greeted by the friendly Firstchoice,Thomson reps and the hotel staff who were all very friendly and helpful all the time we were there. The apartments are set in beautiful gardens, which are kept, clean and tidy. The pools were lovely, but very cold the apartment was spotless and the maids came in and cleaned and changed towels most days. There is plenty of entertainment and bars and food in the complex, but we preferred to go into the town. The apartments are in a good location, about a ten minute walk into the main resort, harbour and small beaches about 30 minute walk to the sand dune beaches which are beautiful and not to be missed! There are plenty of bars and restaurants in the main town, because of the euro it was a little pricey, but it was lovely. We recommend the waikiki bar, poco loco for the food it was lovely. The Rock Cafe bar was fantastic for a night out with a band playing every night and then into the Down Under bar for a late drink and more bands. There was a water park and zoo next to the papagayo but unfortunately it was closed until April, but in the high season it will be fantastic. There was a market twice a week, with plenty of lucky lucky stalls if your prepared to be hassled, it was fun trying to barter! The supermarkets are quite pricey especially the nettos . Very shocked to see some of the poor reviews on this site, as we couldn?t find any fault with the complex and the resort it was fantastic and would definitely recommend it to anyone. Great for families and couples. Cant wait to go back again! We will definitely be going back again !
