Our apartment was filthy on arrival and was never cleaned properly, e.g. hair all over bathroom floor, food down lounge wall, patio filthy and never cleaned.

We had smashed wall sockets which were dangerous

Broken chair, filthy covers

Most light bulbs were broken

No cooking utensils are provided

Bed linen and towels had holes in and the changing is not done often enough

We had to complain several times before some of the problems were fixed but most remained unresolved.

The apartment was so poor it ruined our holiday

very clean rooms with outside space kept spotless, pool areas are fab for the kids. Only one downside which was the bars in the hotel seem very dear compared with bars outside the complex, easy to solve, dont stay in the hotel, there are great bars in the town with excellent entertainment, try insperations near the harbour, the resident entertainer is mind blowing!!!

My Husband and myself have just retuned from oasis papagayo appt, where we spent a week, reps on hand 24/7 nothing to big for them not that we had ANY problems, staff very friendly and most helpful, appt very spacious and clean, towels every other day lovely grounds and pool area, never had a fight for beds ? Nov might be busy in season overall great appartments, supermarket next door expensive so be careful ok if you dont want to carry Lt of water but for other items ask rep for another supermarket, good shuttle bus to flag beach 4 euro return for the two of us book night before not bad and worth going we spent most of our days there (weather permitting)if you dont like a walk well these oasis papagayo little out of the way from main stream but 7mins to first pub nice walk down but taxi couple times home, lots of places to eat good choice but not cheap, we tended to go to rock cafe samagel and mcCarthetys bars good music different every night. enjoy your holiday we did.

Just returned from a week at the Oasis Papagayo and I must say we were quite impressed with both the complex and our individual one bedroom apartment. We had asked for a quiet position with a sunny balcony and were well satisfied on both counts. The only slight inconvenience was the 25minute walk into the resort became a bit tiresome by the end of our stay, though this is not a major gripe. All in all we would recommend these apartments and would not hesitate to return in the future.

just returned from a week stay at oasis papagayo with my husband and 3 kids(ages 1.2.6). we paid just over #1100 for all of us form manchester. from the start the holiday was excellent.we arrived at manchester parked the car and whizzed straight through check in no hassle.we had dinner and were then boarded. the cabin crew were friendly and helpful. when we arrived at oasis papagayo we were pleasently surprised by the standard for the accomodation for money we payed it was excellent. we had booked a 1 bedroomed apartment but were upgraded free of charge to a 2 bed on arrival. all we wanted was a peaceful and restful holiday as we had had an awful year.and that is exactly what we got. their was more than enough room around the pools, which i think i counted 3 big pools (1 of which heated) and 2 large shallow ones for the kids and a jacuzzi. through the day the kids clubs to our surprise were still running, both thomsons and the hotels own.their was entertainment on a night for kids and adults.the thomson staff were so full of life and a lovely bunch of people. when we did go to bed it was so peaceful.no noise from people coming home etc. we did eat once in the complex restauant.and it was very nice, but we choose to go out of complex most evenings just to go for a walk and tea so we got out and about. we went to the kyte festival down on the dunes.and that is well worth a visit.100s of kytes of all shapes and sizes an amazing sight to see and the kids loved it so much we stayed till about 5.30.as long as you dont mind seeing the odd nudist sunbather it is great. i have struggled to pick a bad point about the holiday.the only one i can is that the iron dining furniture in the apartments make an awful racket when they get dragged across the floor by the neighbours but that could be easily rectified by felt pad underneath or something similar failing that tell them off instead.
