We booked a very last minute deal to the Bitzaro, travelling in mid October. We had an absolutely lovely stay at the hotel, despite the mixed weather!! Room was nice and comfortable, particularly for Greece, where accommodation we've stayed at previously was quite basic. The maid service was brilliant every day and the entire hotel was immaculate throughout our stay. The all inclusive choice was also good, good variation every day and despite being slightly fussy we always found something appetising!! The only 2 negatives we found were that Kalamaki as a resort was very disappointing. I don't know whether this is in part due to the time of year that we'd travelled as every that was still open seemed to be preparing to close for the season, or whether the resort isn't as lively as it was. However, the hotel is no more than a 5 minute walk from the beach, which is beautiful, and the bus stop near the hotel offers a regular service to Zante Town, which we found particularly pretty to visit. The animation team in the hotel seemed t work really hard but the entertainment on offer wasn't really to our taking. Great if you like bingo and karaoke but that was about it!! There is also a sister hotel just around the corner, the Bitzaro Palace, where we used the pool a few times, as it was much quieter, less children and generally more geared towards adults. Overall we had a brilliant holiday and would highly recommend the hotel!!!
