Despite the holiday season winding down (it was October after all!) my partner and i had a brilliant holiday in Salou! Our room at the Sol Piramide far exceded our expectations. We had a fridge containing complimentory drinks on our arrival, a huge balcony and our room was cleaned, new bed linen towels etc every day! We ve been to the resort before so we know our way around, we had a day in Portaventura which was fantastic, we also had a day in Tarragona and an evening in the beautiful port of Cambrils just up the coast, the weather was beautiful for our entire stay aswell which helps of course. Another plus point for us was our Thomson rep at the hotel, Jodie, a very sweet girl who was also very informative and helpful and someone whom Thomson would do very well to keep hold of! All in all a superb holiday, and one i d be happy to recommend to anyone! :-)

for a thomson holiday its the worst ever. first thing was when we arrived in our room even though it said 3 people in room there was only 2 beds but they did put another one in quite quickly. second thing the food was really bad you was lucky if you got any thing hot and we had chicken one night the was still raw. the staff was really unhelpful and so not happy except the rep she was really nice. our room was not cleaned really the whole time we was there the only thing they did was give us clean towls. we got shampoo down our bath one night and it was still there the net day we had to clean it up. the pool area was really dirty and wasnt cleaned the whole time we was there. the hotel it stuff was bad full stop. but the area we was in was really nice we went to beach any day to get away from hotel. i would say to anyone thinking of going there dont its crap. but dont get put off by areas there are good just not hotel i would not call that a 4*.

this was meant to be a 4* definitely not the food was very poor the entertainment even worse chairs around the room like you where at a theatre hardly any tables to put your drink down childrens entertainment started at 9 and so called adult started at 10 no proper entertainers manly audience participation ,staff very good but that is the only thing going for it,i would not go to this hotel ever again this was the general opinion of every we spoke to

just come back from hotel pyramide didnt have air conditioning as stated in brocure the room smelt of sewage the hot water was not put on in the morning until after eight didnt have theme nights in the restarant same food mostly fish or veal no pool table in the bar as it shows in the brochure entertainment was the same everynight spanish pensioners ball room dancing nothing for any other nations staying at the hotel manager was not there rept was useless asked questions not satisfactory answers company should have stated that in may the spanish take there two weeks free holiday will not be going back there ever and would not recommend the hotel to any of my friends for mine and my friends first holiday abroad cound not have had a worse experience very off putting .
