Apartments very basic & not that clean but staff very friendly and facilities good, apart from food in there cafe was poor the beaches & sea were very clean & if you like walking it takes 20mins to the beach but there is bus down there if need. From the centre of Benidorm you can catch a No. 10 bus to Altea the albir lovely little towns well worth a visit only 1.45 per person one way.

The complex states that it has achieved the Trip Advisor 2013 award. I cannot understand how this has been possible. My wife and I were allocated a non facing pool room which backs onto a main residential street. Opposite there is a villa which has chickens and a cockeral in the garden and the cock never stops crowing and prevents having a late sleep in. In addition the residences have dogs which again never stop barking. The rooms themselves are clean but the air conditioning did not work although the controls did power up. The balcony door needs to be closed due to the noise described above and air con that worked would have been good. The bed sheets are only changed once per week which is not my normal experience of a Thompson package holiday. Clients arrive at all times of the day and late night and the noise of people pulling their suitcases along the tiled corridor floor is most unwelcome. There is no real nice bar lounge to relax in and what is available resembles a works canteen. If you have a hire car parking is available but at 5Euro per day and since there is off street parking for free it would have been good if management allowd the use of the hotel parking for free. Internet is available but at the expensive rate of 10Euro per day or 20Euro per 7 days. There is, however, coin operated internet computers available to check your emails. The pool was nice but no umbrella shading was provided and if you required a lounger matress then again you had to pay extra at 1Euro a time. Overall the complex is totally disappointing and having spent many packaged holidays with Thompsons at far superior 3 star accommodation I cannot understand why Thompsons use this complex.

Stayed at the Terralta in April 2013. Was very pleased when we arrived. Rooms are spotless, and the pool area was very nice and safe for kids. The food in the restaurant was very nice. The only downside was the apartments were up a hill, its not so much steep but a gradual climb! It is walkable but there was also a bus that came past every hour. I cannot fault these apartments for cleanliness, there were an army of maids! The beach was a bit of a stroll away, so only went there once, however this was also clean. I would not reccommend anyone to go to the Benidorm Palace! unless you are over the average age of 80! very dated show, was disappointed with this. These apartments are situated in the old town of Benidorm, so to get to the new town, walk down the hill to the bus stop opposite and catch the number 02 bus. The Thomson rep was helpful but they are not based at this hotel so only seen them once. If you needed information you had to look in the Thomson file (which we had to ask reception where this was) Reception staff were helpful. On arrival we had to pay 60 euros deposit for the room, but we knew this as we had red reviews, this was given back on departure. The only thing bad I would say about these apartments were the sun loungers. There werent many where the back would lift up, so they were in a flat position, which made them very had but you could purchase mats from reception for a euro a day but you had to get them early as they would run out. Our departure flight was not the best experience. There were so called 'wheelchair users' , who did not need the wheelchairs, so we were all on the shuttle bus waiting for these to be put on to there transport,of which I can only describe as a lorry, why they didnt do these first rather than all us watching them, but as soon as we arrived at the other side, these 'wheelchair users' made a marvellous recovery! in my opinion, they wanted to get onto the plane first, as I overheard one lady sat waiting in a wheelchair 'oooh, they should of put us on first!' This was very annoying to see! , but Overall, up until the departure flight, we did enjoy our holiday.

We have had a lovely February half term break with son self catering at the Terralta Apartments. It was out of high season and located a walk off the main sea front so nice and quiet. The weather was ambient, not scorching hot, but much warmer than UK was during the same period. The Apartment had heating as well as air-conditioning. The Apartments were lovely and clean and quiet on an evening which was nice for us after tiring ourselves out swimming in the indoor pool morning and afternoon and walking down to the beach and back. We used the Benidorm daily cycle hire facility to get along the sea front, as well as the local bus service and also had a tour on the red road train. We also had an outstanding day's experience at Mundomar.

Whilst we enjoyed our stay in Terralta we felt we had been abandoned by Thomsons. There was no rep so we had to rely on the receptionist. We had no information but the receptionist told us that there was a book in the library containing information re pick up times etc. Why was this book not on display? It was tucked away around the corner in the library and we had no idea it was there. We are not on the only ones in our group that had no idea it was there. There was no notice board in reception, We were just left to get on with it. Very very poor and very very worrying on your own in a strange country.
