The Elysium hotel was a truly remarkable experience - we had one of the best holidays staying in the Elysium complex. The staff are courteous and friendly without the feeling that it is because they 'have to be'. The staff truly made us feel welcome and that they wanted our holiday to be enjoyable. In particular Petka and Cedric in the restaurants excelled in their demeanour towards the guests. Also of special mention is Rachel in the Kids Club, she made such a great time for our little boy that he would have spent all day there if he could. The food was superlative in every respect - quality, taste and choice. The hotel was not cheap regarding room price, food and drinks, but it must be said that you get 5 star value for the money that you spend. Our stay at the Elysium will be very memorable and it is a testament to hotels excellent standards to note that we spoke to many people who have returned time and time again; we hope to do the same in the future.

Spent 10 days here in May/June and the hotel was excellent. The staff were very attentive and we could find no fault with them. Our room was lovely, well equipped and spacious and was kept spotlessly clean. The grounds of the hotel were well maintained and there was never a problem getting a sunbed. The only meal we had in the hotel was breakfast and there was always plenty of choice. I would not hesitate to return for another stay in the future.

Fabulous Hotel let down by the buffet dining room, which during our first 7 days was crowded then became unbearable crowded into the second week , obviously our first week was a quiet one. Unfortunately the whole of our stay the buffet food was below a 5 star standard for example breakfast the plates were cold the sausages uncooked. the bacon inedible and petty much everything else cold. The evening buffet suffered even more from overcrowding and cold food. The staff in the buffet dining room were of 5 star standard without a doubt as they were all over the Hotel. Eating in the restaurants was a different experience, these were indeed 5 star but very expensive, so I guess you take your pick. For us food is a big part of our holiday so this very basic lousy buffet experience ruined it for us

This hotel is amazing, beautiful surroundings, staff are friendly and efficient. Could not fault the service or hotel in any way. We were a little disappointed with the location as not much else to do unless you wanted to hire a car. The walk to Paphos was longer than we thought and not that interesting. Also the main road was not that ideal - we had a baby with us. Would certainly recommend this hotel. It is everything it says it is. We would love to come again but would probably hire a car to get out and about more.
