Everything positive at this hotel. Staff friendly and efficient, food selection appetising and varied, bedrooms are a good size and nicely furnished and the beds are comfy. Little in the way of games to entertain children just one table tennis table and one pool table. Entertainment 3 nights a week. We took a Thomson trip to Formentura and were not disappointed. The waters are turquoise due to the sea grass and we swam from white sand beaches. Our guide was most informative. A two day car hire will be enough to see this small island and the northern resorts such as Portinax and San Miguel are worth a visit. Also in that area there's a high end boutique hotel called Hacienda Na Xamina at Na Xamina. Not cheap, but if you do call in for lunch there you will be welcomed and looked after. This has been our second visit to Ibiza and if we do return it will be to the Groupotel. A point of interest that I don't think is mentioned elsewhere. After dinner when you are enjoying your brandy and espresso on the terrace, as darkness approaches a wonderful aroma pervades the night air. This is from a shrub called locally "un gallan de noche" or gentleman of the night, botanical name cestrum nocturno. No scent during daylight hours, but come the night WOW. Shrub is situated on left of the terrace when facing the pool. Finally, a word about our rep George. Full of local knowledge, helpful and whilst he makes you aware of the Thomson trips available, lets you make up your own mind about whether you want to partake or not.

Hotel was nice. But had to wait two hours once we got there for our room. the transfer was a pain we were last on the list of eight hotels to be dropped off. I asked for a sea or pool view but got a lovely view of the back lane!! The hotel was spotless and the maid came every day.

Our first time on Ibiza & were very impressed with the Island. Santa Eulalia was a lovely resort & our hotel, on the outskirts but a short 10 min walk along the cliff top to the centre of the marina. Very picturesq. We found a lovely cove for swimming & sunbathing with a couple of restaurants so we were well fed & watered. The sun beds were 6 euro per day. There was also a Bar/ Restaurant just outside the hotel with beautiful views over the bay, excellent food & good drinks menu. The hotel food was excellent & the swimming pool area very good with lots of sunbeds if you did not want to go further afield. The only thing to mar our experience was that my email account was hacked whilst I was using the hotel computer causing me horrendous problems on my return home. I can only assume someone had access to the computer & sold on the hacked details.

Overall a rating of very good would be more appropriate. The Hotel would certainly benefit from entertainment on at least one more night[currently 3 nights a week] Breakfast a bit mediocre and never very warm, evening meal very good. A relaxed and relaxing Hotel, sea view rooms excellent, and would certainly return.

Attended son's wedding in Sol den Serra near Calla Longa - fabulous venue, food, service - could not fault it - magical day. Stayed in Grupotel Santa Eulalia and although a good walk into the centre, the hotel was good, with good selection of food, nice pool area. Santa Eulalia is a super resort, very clean, great frontage and shops. Seemed like a very safe place to be if you were travelling alone. Made a couple of trips to Ibiza town - fabulous place, love all its little winding streets and restaurants, great shops. Very cool place and has a certain vibe. Definitely returning next year, fallen in love with it.
