If you want peace, relaxation and just total chill, this is the place to be. The staff simply cannot do enough for you, and no you do not need to tip to get good service, nor do you have to be French. The animation team does all the entertainment, they put their heart and sole into it (god love them) but it is dreadful. Hotel is only two minutes (over road) from airport, but you honestly don?t here it. Also don?t panic if they run off with your cases at the airport, just try and keep up, they do take English money as tip.
We loved this hotel they take pride in the cleanliness and our rooms were cleaned daily. The pool area is great and would be brilliant in the summer months and great for kids.. Our last 4 days got really warm and we were out sunbathing. If you are looking for a chill out holiday then this hotel is for you. There was entertainment on every night even in these early months. The entertainment team and waiters are very friendly and cant help you enough. Thompson rep also was very helpful (Abby). We did the show on the friday which was very professional and gave us a night out away from the hotel. As I say that I will mention that I did not leave the hotel as I am pregnant, my parents went to the next town on a daytrip and was pestered quite a bit that they ended up coming back to the hotel. 2hrs they were away So please be wary of this. Also be wary of exchanging money at the reception, make sure you double check and obtain a receipt. These are only points and did not ruin our holiday. All in all a beautiful hotel and very friendly people. A lovely break for us.
It's a gorgeous hotel which is what led us 2 book there...so we weren't dissapointed in that respect. We were there 4 2 weeks and as there isn't much close by u need good entertainment which the hotel certainly doesn't have...although the staff couldn't do enough 4 u and were lovely...they were'nt very good entertainers ha ha. Food was ok and a gorgeous hotel overall would only go back to tunisia if we were to go 2 a part with more around the area. Very friendly staff!

The hotel was excellent, very clean, food was ok but was only luke warm if you didn't get there early, rooms are very spacious but pay extra for a sea view or you are overlooking waste land, beach very clean but watch out for the jelly fish in a morning, there was beggars on the beach, entertainment team are great, always smiling but i don't think the hotel deserves a platinum rating, no tea or coffee facilities in the room which was a let down, if i had to go back to Tunisia i would choose this hotel but stay inside the hotel, we are not going back to Tunisia as it's a very big culture shock and you are hasseled as soon as you leave the hotel, it is not a nice experience when you go outside and not for the faint hearted.
