My partner and i stopped at the bellevue park and was well impressed with all the aspects of the holiday. The hotel was excellent and extremly run well giving the feeling that you were the centre of attention. The rooms were great and the food was out of this world. The hotel staff were fantastic and made you feel special and would do anything for you. Being all inclusive you could not want for more. The hotel grounds were very impressive and the animation team worked hard to get everyone involved. The only two negative issues were that i love my coffee and sit on the balcony at 4 in the morning watching life but could not get coffee from bedtime until 7:30 in the morning. I booked the holiday a year in advance and would have expected a front balcony view but received a side view with very little to look at. I must admit i did not request a front view and the hotel is large so someone would have to have the side views. At least i could see the sea from our room. The holiday rep and helper were great and the morning meet was well worth the time. The weather was fantastic even if there were several overcast days we still came back with a fantastic tan for 7 days. Location was very good and only a quick drive in a taxi could get you to most places of interest. If you like a good drink while on holiday the local beer is ok but can be a little bland after a while and the spirits again local tasted very similar. Overall i would recommend this hotel but older couples seem more attracted to this location who want to relax but it depends how far you want to go out looking for your interest. There is plenty to do but you have to fill your boots with the excursions. We would have loved to gone on the sahara desert excursion but you need 2 days for that and we wanted to work on our tan first so did not leave enough time to explore too far. Thankyou Thomson for a super holiday.

Just returned from 2 weeks at this hotel. The hotel and grounds were kept immaculate. There were always plenty of available sunloungers either around the pool, in the garden are or on the beach. The rooms, although not luxurious, were a good size with adequate cupboard space and were also kept immaculatly clean with clean sheets and towels every day. The food, whether at the buffet restaurant or at the pool side buffet restaurant, was always tasty, hot and well cooked. There was always plenty of choice with chefs waiting behind their stations to sir fry vegetables, grill meat and fish or prepare fresh pasta in the main restaurant at dinner or lunch or to fry eggs, panckes and omlettes at breakfast. Drinks were available from early morning till midnight with the option of a pay bar after midnight. This included hot, soft and alcholic drinks. The spirits and cocktails were fine, however, the wine tasted better the more you drunk - but was still drinkable. The entertainment staff worked very hard and organised such activities as vollyball, French bowls, keep fit etc during the day. In the evening the entertainment team then produced shows. Some were better than others but what they may have lacked in talent they more than made up for in enthusiasm and some of their dancing was very proffesional. All the staff were helpful and courteous and really tried hard to ensure everyone had a good holiday. My only critism is the location of the hotel which is a good 40 mins walk to the Port. However, taxis were cheap and plentiful and there were a few shops and cafes nearer to the hotel. I would not hesitate to reccomend this hotel.

This hotel is not up to riu standards ,the hotel staff are very friendly and the hotel and grounds are first class, BUT its the first riu all inclusive hotel where you pay for bottle water, the drinks have less alcohol than the water,no air con in the main hotel area or restaurant, the food was very poor in choice, the beach was often dirty eg plastic bags and bottle tops on sand and in sea, lifts were often not working, hotel lobby and bar full of cigarette smoke.evening entertainment was not first class but they tried, the only good entertainment is in the american bar, but all drinks must be payed for.

We arrived in the Hotel 2 days before my wife birthday, the way the hotel team treated us both it seemed it was our bithday for the 2 full weeks. A special thanks to the animation team for all there hard work in particular Sam, he had the knack to get every body involved and we had such a good time. The day of my wifes bithday the reception team had organised flowers and a cake for the themed restraurant in the evening, it was a fantastic night. It was pleasant to see the senior management team, including Jacob on patrol from early morning to late at night ensuring all your needs are catered for. Thanks for a great holiday see you next year!!! Terry & Eileen from Liverpool.

I went to The Bellevue at the end of April this year, went on my own, which is the first time holidaying alone. I can recommend this hotel to anyone whether alone. in couple or groups. Very good standard, rooms, food comunal areas excellent, staff very friendly and helpful and the reps were excellent. The only thing to be aware of if you are alone and female, no matter what age you are (I am 53) the young waiters will try to get you to go off complex with them, not sure what their agenda was, but as I am happily married, and not easily flattered by 20 somethings, I am glad to say I did not find out. They can be fairly persistant though, so be warned, however the reps were very supportive and offered to deal with the situation, although this was not necessary as I made it very clear that NO meant NO! Also local shops can be very pushy and the first thing I was asked was is your husband with you? again, not sure of the reason behind this. Overall it was a very good holiday as I just needed a week in the sun doing nothing and it ticked all the boxes. Good mix of people, British, Dutch, French and German. Entertainment every evening, and although not exactly West End class, the entertainment team worked very hard and also lots of activities during the day for kids and adults and you were not bullied into taking part, if you said no that was OK. The beech was very good and very clean, so were the pools with plenty of sun beds for both and an excellent pool bar. The food was very good, with lots of choice and all prepared and cooked fresh at every sitting. I would say this was a very good hotel for all ages, not sure how it would be at the height of the season, I would imagine very busy. I did not go on any of the excursions, not because they were expensive, but I just wanted to chill out for a week so cannot comment on those, although they looked very good value for money. There was satellite TV, but you could only get BBC world news, all the other stations were either German or local, so don't expect to be able to catch up on your soaps! I felt quite safe within the complex, but did not feel comfortable going off complex apart from the one shopping trip, although would have if my husband had been with me. I would go back to this hotel if I wanted to have another chill out week.
