This is my second visit in two years to this hotel and its position on the corner of the bay is second to none partly built out over the blue waters of the red sea. But you are only less than five minutes walking distants to all the bars and restaurants. This is only a small hotel with around 70 bedrooms but has two restaurants one A la Carte on the open deck built in the sea. the other normal restaurant is indoor or open air buffett style. The food in the buffett restaurant is not a vast choice but there was always four or five choices so you always found something to eat just remember you are in Egypt. The hotel is visited by all nationalitys mainly germans and russians but english being in the minority did not effect us in anyway though. The main plus point for this hotel is the staff from the waiters to pool or beach attendants nothing is to much trouble for them and they are always very friendly. This is a great hotel in a great position rooms are not plush but adequate and very clean food was average. Now for the minus point don't expect any service from Thomson we were taken from the airport dumped at the hotel by there agents given no information the following evening we got some torn up photo copied bits of paper telling us we had missed our meeting which we had no information of! but there was a meeting the following day we turned up for this waited one hour but not rep arrived. I texted thomson they said there rep would contact me that evening once again nothing visited reception the next few days at times it said rep would be there in the Thomson book once again no show. I got no information to confirm my pick up and travel times home once again had to text thomson to confirm. The one thing that let this holiday down was Thomson Uk the Germans had visits from there Rep everyday and notice boards displaying everything for them. The English had an out of date book. Fortunately this was my second visit but anybody dumped here for there first time would have felt very lossed. Hope no one else gets the same experience.

Returned from Sharm on thursday after a lovely week at the Iberotel Lido. A small, quiet, friendly hotel, with very little entertainment. Just perfect for us and a wondergul place to spend time just 'chilling out' and recharging the batteries! The food was excellant quality and there was good variety. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Naama bay is a picturesque, active bay with plenty of activities for those who want it. Lots of restaurants and shops. We went on the local boat trip aboard the Sina Dream sail boat - a good day out but can get very busy with lots of children. Also went on the Thomson VIP cruise - one of the best we have ever been on! All in all a great holiday. Only one complaint, it was not long enough. Next year will go for 2 weeks!
