Just got back from the Pafian Sun. We was booked into a studio which had plenty of room for the two of us. Furniture a little old but lets face it how much time do you spend in the room and it had plenty of storage but take exra hangers. The food and drink was very good couldn't fault. The making of the holiday was the entertainment team (Rich,Helen,Jen,& John) they never stopped working day and night I do believe they was the entertainment for Thomas Cook but hey they entertained us all so good on them. I wouldn't recommend this in peak time i think when full; it would be too much. Sept was good as it wasn't full.

one of the best holidays we have ever had thanks to paphian sun village. please dont pay any attention to bad reviews, people who write them are the ones who would moan about anything.the staff work hard to entertain and also the hotel staff keep the place immaculate. the food could rival any top hotel and in my experience would be better than most, the choice is plentiful and always fresh. we are going back to the complex next year and will take our grandchildren us! lovely place. well done paphian sun ! from maggie an kel. epsom.

We have just returned from a week at the Pafian Sun - not sure what to expect having read the mixed reviews. We arrived during heavy rain in the middle of the night and were given a map of our room location - we did request a sea view but could see that was not what we had got. In the morning we mentioned this to the Rep (Tony) who had a word with Reception and we were given the keys to another room for us to look at. Wow what a view, not only a sea view(which would probably have been a little boring as nothing happening in it) but a lounge with a balcony with a view of the whole complex and sun all day. Our bedroom looked over the main road which I thought may have been a little noisy but as we were set back a little did not effect us - we could hear some mornings the cockerel that lived across the road but again didnt cause too much trouble. The evening meals were on a different theme each night and from morning until night the standard was very high. We had plenty of drinks (just a little disappointed with the wine) but drank black russians instead. Enterntainment for children all day(not that we had any) and the entertainers worked hard in the evening to entertain everyone. Was further from Paphos than we expected but a bus stops outside and for 1euro 35 (which seemed to be the price for anywhere) you go into Paphos or to Coral Bay. The weather for end of March/April was good even though the evenings were still chilly. Overall I would recommend this complex - probably more suitable for familes than young couples - but we as nearing retirement age thoroughly enjoyed our week

Upon our arrival we found the rooms to be of a poor standard, more like a basic self catering room as compared to the expected 4*. We informed the rep Rachel of this and she moved us to a room over looking the sea, although this room was of the same standard the view was amazing. We are so glad we stayed here, the facilities of the Hotel are what makes it a 4*. The all inclusive food was superb and had a different theme each night, the Chinese night was excellent. The choices at the meals was superb and catered for all, we even had some of the kids stuff on a few occasions! There is also the option of an a-la-carte restaurant and you get a free sitting in it once a week, although we didnt take up this option as we liked the main restaurant food. The snacks menu could be a bit more choice and would benefit from having the toaster available for the snaks period. Good variety on the all inclusive bar drinks. The waiting and bar staff are really friendly and curtious. The hotel has a superb swimming pool of a really decent size. The daytime activities focus round this, with daily games of ater polo and volleyball, but if you dont want to join in, ther is plenty of room in the pool to enjoy space. The hotel also has a large indoor pool which is cooler than the outdoor one, a jacussi, gym, steam room and sauna. On site mini-market thats open all day and till about 10:30pm, sells everything from lilos to daily english newspapers (another shop and bar on main road opposite hotel) The entertainment team are fabulous. There is a kids club which has activities on for the kids during the day and the 2 girls are really nice and friendly (We dont have any kids). The evening entertainment suits all, starting off early evening with kids activities. The evening entertainment is set round an outdoor stage, which is an excellent facility. No mosquitos about in the evening. The entertainmen team are superb and all 4 of them have different qualities and will keep you entertained, infact the entertainment team made our holiday so enjoyable and we would like to thank Kez, Wez, Stevie and John for being so superb. They put on numerous daytime activities, the fun fitness in the pool is a good way to loosen off, darts/table tennis/football (Hotel has a floodlit tennis court). A daily lunchtime quiz. The evening entertainment consists of some game show type games and a show from the team, who put on an excellent variety of shows.
