Spent a week at the Hilton Sharm Dreams Hotel in Sharm El Sheik to celebrate my sixtieth birthday. Absolutely fantastic. All aspects of the hotel were excellent, huge room, extremely clean fabulous garden setting friendly and helpful staff. Short walk to Naama Bay Shopping Mall. The submarine trip under the Red Sea was superb, although a little long. Would definitely reccomend

Very disapointed that this hotel doesn't have a rep. As we were informed it did. The pools were supposed to be heated no way they didn't even reach 20 degrees. The boom boom of local casino goes on till 4am every night. So glad didn't go all inclusive it's like feeding time at the zoo. Reception staff not helpful at all, no hot water for 4 days then no water at all. Excursion to Cairo disorganised from start to finish 1st not informed to order a breakfast after phoning thomson in england to find out what we need to do as we never had a rep. 2nd not informed to cover legs and shoulders so couldn't go in the mosc. You are left to fight your way through the airport on your own. Never booking with Thomson again.

I have only just been shown this site by my wife, i have currently just sent off my complant to Thompson. This is our stay:The bus taking us to the hotel could not find another hotel and past ours three times.No one told us that we had to make an appointment to meet the rep, we had issues with the room, poor food, (bed & breakfast), thankfully, and the unbeliverble poor service.we phoned the hotline four times during our stay, different days, but could still not get to meet with the rep, (SIMON), not sure if boy or girl, never met with them, i was told on one occasion, no appointment on Saturday as it was the reps day off, and heres me thinking Iam on holiday. The service at breakfast was absolutly CRAP, sorry but no other words, the food was bland at best, the room was large, but very tired looking, but the bathroom was no better than a two star boarding house, the bottom of the door was rotting, the phone on the wall hanging off, the towel rail rusty, the handril loose, there was two door stops screwed to the floor, old raw plugs in the wall, the bin was dented, and to add the patio doors lock was faulty, we found this out when I went back to the room after complaining to the hotel staff for the second time, the room was full of staff trying to repair the faults, the sunbeds were in shreds, and I could go on. The most annoying problem was the very poor service at breackfast and the chasing to meet with the rep, which never happened, I only got chance to complain at the airport on the return flight. I have stated to Thompson in my complaint that if I had been in a large party the rep would hve been there to sell and improve on their commission, yet again having paid up front as the consumer I now have to chase to get my complaint heard and responded to. Stopped at the Movenpick in the past absolutly brill, Fifth time in sharm but this time a two star Hotel, Hilton Sharm Dreams, no dream a nightmare, will never be there again. What ever you do do not stop here and think twice regarding the Thompson holiday group for your travel arrangments.

We can assure you this has been looked into and should not happen when guests are staying in an `on demand¿ service hotel. Here at Thomson we take illness reports very seriously. All reported sickness is passed onto our Quality Department to be investigated and the relevant prevention procedures will be put into practice. "

got to hotel on 15/11/2010 what a let down never seen the rep till 28/10 and when i did see him he was no help at all it was as if he had better thing to do than see me .i must say the food was dreadful i stayed here 3 years ago it was great but now you would not get me back there if it was free out of the six hotel i have been to here this is the worst if you are thinking of going stay movenpick its fer better even the novetel better and make sure you find the rep and i hope its not the one from the Hilton
