Hi,

I have just got back from the Lanzasur Club Bungalows and after spending 2 weeks there I will give you an exact detailed review.

The dates we stayed were from the 17th September to the 1st October 2009.

On the holiday there was me, my partner & my 14 month old daughter.

As we pulled upto the hotel it looks really nice and looks like a 4 star hotel. Inside is very nice and clean with lots of plants and a small bridge at the bottom with fish in the water, the reception area is very nice with lots of comfy chairs and the receptionist could speak very good English.

As we went to our villa it looked very nice from the outside but inside could have done with a good clean and there were mosquitos splattered all over the walls, the bathroom could have been cleaned better especially the bath and shower. The beds are not comfy at all and take about a week to get used to, they are very very hard and the pillows are non existant. Girls, take your own hairdryer as you dont get one in the villa and if you do want one then you have to pay 15 euros a week for one. There is no air con - all they offer is a fan at 15 euros a week. Also the only channel on TV for English you get out there is CNN news (boring).

The first morning we went for breakfast we thought that the restaurant could have done with a bit of a tidy up. All the chairs are ripped. We found the food to be ok. But it all caters for the mediterranean. If your thinking of a good old fashioned english breakfast then think again, all they do is runny eggs and cold beans, they do bacon but its only once a week. This is the same day in day out.

At Lunch they do the usual, chips, salad, etc, this seems to be a bit repetitive as well.

At Dinner on a Monday they do a big pan of paella and this seems to last them through the week they just throw different things in, some of the nights the dinner can be quite good but again it tends to be the same & my partner was finding hairs in his (sorry but this is a true review). For the dinners they should do themed nights as everything about the food at this hotel is to cater for the Spanish & German.

Have just arrived back from our lovely holiday to Lanzarote with our two children aged 8 and 12 years..Lovely complex, loved the idea that you were staying in bungalows, especially with two children..Beautiful hotel, lovely swimming pools, excellent food and the service was excellent, both in the hotel and at reception-the only downside was that we were English in a hotel that catered mostly for Germans Spanish..all of the entertainment catered only for them!!! the kids club only entertained them as well!! You were a complete outcast being English!!!which was such a shame as everything else was fab!!! It would be nice to see an English/Irish flag outside the hotel so that we could feel welcome and some entertainment which we could understand, so the children could have got involved!!!!!

We booked an all inclusive package, which was good value. The staff were friendly and relaxed and the facilities are certainly up to the 3 star rating. UK guests were a significant minority - possibly an advantage! - with the largest group being German. There were also Spanish and Scandenavian guests. The food in the buffet style restaurant was well presented and with a generally good range, although the variety was a little limited by the end of the week. Salads were excellent, fish tended to be overcooked. The bungalows were satisifactorily equipped and comfortable enough. The layout of the site does not give any views of the sea, but the coast is a very short walk away. There is an excellent promenade all along the coast from the lighthouse west of Playa Blanca right to beyond the Rubicon Marina at the east end of the town.

Stayed at Lanzasur from 5th - 12th December 07 All inclusive deal. The food was fantastic with varying choices every day. We even had a BBQ outside to the sound of Christmas music with temps of 24C. How cool is that! Very clean Bungallow type Accomadation with very friendly staff, they go that extra mile to make you feel welcome. Would definatly go back again at this time of year, as it is quite. Two pools with one heated and tempreture checked every day. Loads of sunbeds available. Only down sidewas range of AI drinks was poor. I have stayed AI elswhere before and they had better range. ie no Tomato juice for those bloody marys......

My Friend & I Have just returned from Holiday to Celebrate her 60th birthday & retirement, We Stopped At the Lanzasur Club in Playa Blanca. On our Arrival we Couldn't believe What we saw the Bungalows were Magnificent as were all the staff, the service was second to none, & the Facilities on site was also tremendous. We Both would say it was More like a 5 Star Complex than a 3 Star.
