Didn't get off to a good start when there was no bus to take us to resort however after waiting about an hour, we got transferred by taxi laid on by Thomson. Thoroughly enjoyed our 7 days of relaxation. Food was excellent and evening meal was cooked in front of you with plenty of choice of meat and fish dishes. Hotel set in such peaceful surroundings in a very residential area. Would certainly recommend this hotel

The hotel accommodation, staff, food and location were all superb. The service provided by Thomsons both before, during and after the holiday were abysmal, but particular mention must be made of the so called hotel rep who rarely attended when advertised, claimed to have left details for us which she hadn't, told us that we had not booked an Al A Carte holiday which we had. We will never travel with Thomson again

This hotel we feel is misrepresenetd as a four star hotel and did not provide value for money. We base this view on our several visits with Thomson to the Hiphotel Natura palace, a genuine four star hotel, which we trusted we would experience at the Hotel Punta Rotja, also represented as a Hiphotel, four star but this was not the case. Other comments: -Shabby Room and outdated pool area -Discovered dogs at hotel due to private owners of some rooms? -No putting green found - If platinum hotel then why were we last guests to be dropped off! This Hotel appears to be a work in progress to full ownership and four star rating by Hiphotels and therefore we feel rather cheated by the brochure description.

Just spent two weeks at this lovely hotel, what a good decision for a last minute booking. My husband and I wanted a relaxing holiday in nice surroundings and we couldn't have asked for more. The staff are friendly, attentive and always greet you with a smile, whether it be at the reception, in the dining room or from the chambermaids. The food is good and plentiful and constantly replenished. The dining area outside is quite small so it can be a bit tricky trying to get a table, but if you wait your turn and are patient this can usually be managed. We were pleased to have a room on the sixth floor and so had a wonderful view. The standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel and the grounds is very high. Yes the area is residential and a little isolated but there are regular buses from just outside the hotel and we hired a car. However, there is no beach to speak of and just some sand laid on top of a small concrete area with a few umbrellas placed very close together and this I feel is not explained very truthfully in the Thomson description of the hotel. The nearest beach is 15-20 mins slow walk away, easily done and well worth it, where there is also a beach bar to get a good lunch. The swimming pool because of the pine trees gets the sun at one side in the morning and at the other side in the afternoon. The hotel provides beach towels with a deposit of 30 euros which is returned at the end of your stay. There are many plus marks but my minus mark was when I asked to borrow an iron. I was told the hotel had none and I had to use the facilities of the hotel's launderette as it was not the usual practice in Spain to provide irons. I suggested they could hold a few to lend out to guests as was the practice in another Hip hotel in Majorca, after all they had kettles available when requested. I would recommend the taxi transfer as this area is approximately one hour from Palma and Thomsons arranged this for us. Our return flight departed early evening and we were very grateful that the hotel let us extend our room by a couple of hours so that we didn not waste any of of our last day. We would not hesitate to return.
