I just returned home from the hotel palm beach on 29/03/10 and it was the best time i have ever had we went as a group of 13 for a stag doo and was super. The hotel at this time of year was mainly consisting on the older generation and stags and hens. The staff at the hotel are outgoing helpful people and really do try and cater to your needs. The food quality at this hotel is one of the best spreads i have ever seen, it had stuff for everyone's need (ie fish, pasta, chicken, chips, potatoes) everything you needed or wanted was there. We all thought out of the gropu we went in that the indoor swimming pool has got alot of clorrine in the water which really hurt your eyes so we only used it once but the outside pool which was cold water was the best for us because it was very clean and really was a lovely relaxing place to just sit and chill. There was one tiny little thing at this hotel which let it down slightly which was the all inclusive for drinks before 11:00 in the morning and after 23:00 u had to pay for the drinks, and the food side is u couldnt snack between meals without paying aswell, but other than that this hotel was superb in every way it was that good all of us have just booked to go back in june this year for a week instead of just 4 days. Well thanks for reading my review ALEX

This hotel had a lovely entrance/reception as we arrived in the early hours of the morning we did not get the benefit of the whole atmosphere - there was a snack waiting for us on our arrival, but no drinks - teas/coffees. On our next day we arrived at breakfast - lovely dining room light and airy. Unfortunately, during our 2 week stay there wasn't a cooked vegetarian meal at dinner, we found that there wasn't a great vegetarian selection overall. I was disappointed that the hotel (being it a 4 star) had guests that were on a stag or hen week etc, some parties had 15/20 people could be very noisy at some points. Our room was above the entertainment area this could also be very noisy especially in the early hours of the morning as people were sitting around. I like Benidorm as a whole as there are a lot of nice walks if your up for it, we did this every day - weather permitting. Strolling along the busy beach was great and enjoyed it, but beachfront cafe's were dearer, but you could always find a cheaper one further back from beach. Lots of shopping to be done, really enjoyed the local markets.

My husband, 3 children and I have just returned from a weeks holiday staying at the Palm Beach Hotel. First expressions of the hotel were good, it boasts a grand entrance. We had to have 2 rooms to accomodate five of us which was a pain as we would have preferred to have stayed together!. The rooms were clean, quite compact, large wardrobes but the only disappointment was the extremely hard beds, The first night was hell, felt like I was sleeping on a tiled floor! I asked at reception if there was any way that the matress could have extra padding as my back felt so sore, the housekeepers came and placed a thin blanket underneath the matress on the beds base, I tried to tell them that this was no good but they could not understand me nor me them. The reception staff said there was nothing else that could be done! I had very little sleep the whole holiday. The food at the hotel was excellent, There was a good selection of different foods, even the children enjoyed all the meals. The waiters were extremely efficient and friendly. The outside poolside was clean and there were enough sun loungers for everyone. the inside pool was ok, you had to wear a swimming cap that could be purchased from the reception. the inside pool was very unruling, there were unsupervised children and young adults bombing and diving into the pool, being very irresponsible especially when there were very young children in the pool. The indoor pool was always very busy as the outside pool was extremely cold. The bar area was a lovely airy room overlooking the pool. There was music and entertainment each night which began at 22.45hrs which was late for young families. We were enjoying our holiday a great deal until 4 days into our holiday and 200 guests arrived for a darts tournament that was being held at the hotel. The bar area was closed to accomodate approx 30 dart boards which if I had known I would never have stayed at the hotel. The childrens play area was also made difficult to use which was devastating to my children as this was the only means of entertaining the children. The guests all smoked by the entrances of the hotel which was not nice, they were very loud especially in the early hours. The entertainment was moved to a nightclub which was attatched to the hotel which was dark and compact. The darts tournament really ruined our stay. I feel that we should have been made aware of this tournament as if I had known I would definately not have booked to stay there.

Just got back from benidorm 3rd jan 09. About 20 yrs since i was there. it must have doubled in size since then. The beaches are still great, golden sands which are cleaned and levelled every morning. The promenade is still a lovely place to walk along, with plenty seating at regular intervals where you can sit and look out to sea.The views from the balcony between the two beaches (levante and pontiente) are great and the best place to take your photographs. As you wander down into the old town, the smells from all the different shops catch your nose (ie. bakers, candle shops ) as useual most of the seafront cafe's are overpriced. but come away from the seafront and you can still get a pint for 1 euro. Some areas are a bit rundown and grotty, as were some of the bars. there is still some great entertainment around .something to suit all tastes.thee of the best ones we watched were,The Beatles,Take That and Westlife,-tibute bands,.You will certainly not get bored with the amount of entertainment on offer. If you like to sing ,try the Karaoke bar beside Morgans tavern,Great sound system, reasonably priced drinks. There are two companies offering free trips P.A.L. and Greentours, they both involve attending a blanket and bedding. Demonstration, we went to guadalest with Pal, beautiful views up there. We went to the sunday afternoon music show with greentours, after having to sit through nearly 2 hours at their domonstration and high pressure sales tactics. The show was not very good ,the meal was nice, but it cost 10 euro's each for one course. This company is very unprofessional and badly organised. GIVE THEM A MISS. The hotel we stayed in was the PALM BEACH what a great hotel.everything was excellent.could not fault anything.fabulous food, lovely rooms, great facilities steep hills.but you get free bus tickets from hotel to beach or old town.but only takes about 10/15 mins to walk down. taxi fare back up to palm beach about 4 euro's day / 6 euro's night. Hope my review is usuful to others. Bye! John and Linda
