The Movenpick Luxor offers excellent accomodation for families, couples or singles. The hotel is beautifully maintained and very well managed. Its location is unmatchable - right on the banks of the Nile. Security is 1st class. Service is super - friendly & efficient. Resaurants are also excellent - and good value for money. The hotel 'kitchen tour' proves to visitors just how good the service is - and it is good to see how proud the staff are to work there. Luxor is a great centre for Ancient Egyptian visits. Hassle in the town can be a nuisance, so it's best to go direct to visit locations by taxi from the hotel. Very highly recommended !

Had a super holiday. The accomodation was excellent and the staff extremely polite and keen to oblige and the food was good and inexpensive. The reps were very helpful and assisted in rescheduling excursions when my husband was unwell. Most of our time was shared between excursions amd the hotel as the weather was unbelievably hot so did not see much of Luxor town and was quite happy to lie beside the pool on our days off. Take a parasol if you are travelling in the summer, particularly for the Valley of the kings. Overall great value for money and thoroughly enjoyed.

Resort layout wonderful - having a separate pool for families with young children great. Staff and facilities very good - we didn't want to leave - a bit too quiet at night.

We managed to get a very late deal to the Movenpick and what a deal we had. There are not enough words to explain the looks on our faces on arrival, every one should try this place, especially to watch the accompanied sun sets. The staff in each and evey department were most polite and helpful. and the standards of hygiene and cleanliness were unsurpassed. The restuarant facilities are exceptional, the vaiety of the menu was unparalleled we ate like kings,(visited by the head chef on more than one occation). A walk around Luxor is a must, just for the crazy experience, (beware of the horse and trap vendors though). There are far to many things to see in one week so on our return we have booked again within 72 hours, b****er the expense. In short if you want a little bit of paradise for a little cost go visit the people @ "Movenpick jolie ville".

This hotel was fantastic. I would recommend it for anyone. The food was really good the selection was very good even for a very fussy child there was a selection. One would not have to leave the hotel as there was so much to do.
