Just come back from 1 week all inclusive with the wife and could not have had a better holiday for the money, food was realy good apartments were quite large for room and storage with tv, microwave small cooker and kettle. Would be an ideal holiday if the kids were young, only down side were the staff were a little thin on the ground so had to waite for your drinks from the bar but other than that we are booking up for summer holiday there as we enjoyed it so much.

After reading some of the reviews my husband and I were a little worried about going to dunas alisios but it was a wonderful holiday the staff were very friendly rooms cleaned almost every day a really relaxed atmosphere My husband went on the volcano walk with Gary who kept everone amused all week. We went self catering but the meals we had at the complex were very Good would definately go back again.

Myself, husband and 13 year old son are just back from here and we loved it,staff and other holiday makers were all very friendly. Its situated in a perfect location next to all the bars, resturants etc.Even staff at shops bars etc very helpful. My husband loved getting involved with the football, water polo games with the entertainers how were very good.Rooms could do with new furniture though but still acceptable for the price i paid, would definatly go back.Maybe next year.

We have just returned from a weeks SELF CATERING holiday at this apartment block and we will never be returning.

I have a list as long as the rust on the bath of faults about it which I will divulge but our main and initial discust is the price we paid.

As I mentioned, we were on a self catering weeks holiday for which we were charged £2254, we didn't mind paying this initially as this place was a result of putting in 4* in the search engine.

NOT A CHANCE.

I wouldnt have paid £400 if i could have seen the place before we went, apart from being told it was a 3 star rating ' incidentally one of these had fallen off of the front of the building giving it a 2 star which is 2 to many, I wouldn't have allowed my dog to stay here.

Kitchen completely blown, units have fallen away from the worktop, hinges all loose, worktop cracked and broken right next to the cooker, Rusty bath edge, electric socket hanging off the wall, rusty light fittings, kids bedroom smelt of urine, curtain rails loose and uneven, breakfast bar pulling away from the wall, ripped curtains, flaking paint throughout especially on the balcony, a pull out bed which consisted of a 3 inch piece of foam that looked as though it had been eaten by mice......... and so on.

I could go on for ever but the harsh reality is this place is shambolic and we have , without a shadow of doubt, been over charged as we spoke to at least 4 other families who had paid the same as us for 2 weeks all inclusive and in 1 case they had paid the same and received 3 weeks all inclusive, not that the food was upto much, it was bland, cold and the variety was shocking.

If you want to book it, go ahead, but people should be made aware of the state of this block for the money you spend, i've checked again and to book at this place for the last week in august it would have cost us just over £1000 for self catering, someone somewhere will be refunding a fair amount of our cost.

" Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear the Dunas Alisos did not appear to meet our usual high standards on this occasion. The Dunas Alisios is a Skytours 3T rating, and has a local rating of 2key. It is a very basic unit, hence why it is part of our Skytours portfolio. The complex is basis, clean and has no issues with health and safety. We believe our Holiday Advisors did help you out where possible, by offering you a few different room changes that were declined and then as a goodwill gesture you were given the All Inclusive package at the hotel. "

Loved it! Possibly best holiday ever been on! :)

Was amazing, cleanliness was great, staff and entertainment were amazing. Non-stop things to do for the kids & just overall excellence! Would recommend to any family looking for a fun family break in the sun. :D
