Wonderful location, hotel and staff were very freindly and helpful. An excellent supermarket opposite the hotel near Burger King. Rooms very clean and very well equiped for self catering, they even supply an iron and ironing board. A lovely place for a quiet family holiday, although the entertainment is very good there is no night life at all. I have been to this hotel on 3 occasions and will be there again in September 2009. Can't get enough of the place.

Very clean and well equipped hotel and a beach just outside.All the staff were very helpful and polite.Plenty to do for all-Kids club and also activities for us adults. I liked the pistol and rifle shooting!! Evening entertainment is of a high standard and has a different theme every night. Two things to be aware of-The hotel is on the edge of the resort so there is not so many restaurants and bars. There is however taxi rank outside and the bus(EUR 1.20 each) stops every 15 mins to Torremolinos and Fuengirola -which is better for shopping! The double bed is a sofa bed which is not a problem if you are not going to spend time in the apartment and leave it up. I don't come on holiday to make a bed up each night! If you are self catering there is a supermarket across the road by Burger king. Much cheaper than the shop in the hotel. As long as you are aware of the above you will have a great time-we did.

Got back from this hotel last month could not fault it at all. Good and clean hotel nice location 10 mins walk to good bars and restaurants for a good cheap brekkie call in at the HORIZON good food and pleasent staff..It was a good 45 mins walk to the marina but well worth it along the prom with many bars to call in and have a drink many nights we walked there and back if i can do so can you because i am not a walker. We did not eat in the hotel as we was selfcater so cant comment on that. Good supermarket on site everything you need fresh baked bread.Burger king across the road if you are into burgers. Overall a great holiday and a great hotel try it you wont be dissapointed!!!!!!

returned from sunset beach app july, the hotel is very impressive, as you enter the main entrance, the appartment was very clean ane plenty of room for the 3 of us sharing, we were lucky to be on the ground floor with pool view, as the entrance is on the 6th floor, we had to go down to ground but it would be a pain if you were on teh 9th floor, the entertainment was ok, but it is very quiet, the family entertainment finishes at 12, then you can go to the lounge bar until 1, as we had teenagers with us the night life was a taxi in to main resort, which they didnt do, the walk to the resort resturants and bars was quite a hike, not too bad walking down, but we did get taxis back some nights only 8 euros. overall had a great week lovely place and lovely hotel, didnt spend much time in the hotel at night, as we went out and about most nights to resturants in the resort, loads to choose from, had lovely food every night, no complaints, everybody is so pleasent, the staff were very helpful if you asked them anything they would try and help, lovely place and lovely people, would go back and stay in sunset beach again. its not the party place for young teenagers, as we had 3 with us, but i suppose it is there if you look for it, really great place to relax and enjoy the sun.
