we just got bac from stayin at ambassador i would stay there again and recomend 2 anyone u have everything u need on doorstep also the sauna and pools r good only thing i found it cold in tha rooms even though heating was on i no it is march but it was cold same as england and does not seem 2 b as busy as it was it is expensive at some bars in
My girlfriend and I went in Sept just gone and we loved it. We were on the 8th floor and the views were perfect. The bedrooms were pretty basic but it still looked nice. The area that the hotel was based in was perfect too, the nightlife was literally on the doorstep and just a few feet away from the bars etc. The food wasn't bad either but I did find that some of it was hard to make out (jelly's etc) but it was cooked well enough and it's a buffet type of service. The only downfall was the entertainment on the night in the hotel, it was the same singer all week singing the same songs in the same order but once he went off the entertainment picked up, but I suppose with bars literally over the road it didn't matter. The staff are all friendly and have a laugh with you and if you want to know where somewhere is there is a tourist office just outside the entrance. Also there is a pub that links onto the reception area called Western Saloon that has entertainment on too. But the best place to visit for meals is John and Joseph's over the road. The hotel drinks are cheap and the pools are nice and cool. All and all we would deffo stay there again,
just came back from ambassador playa i was in block 2 with my family when arrived we were was given ground floor room with no view not what we were told we were getting we had to wait 2 days to move and did to 10 floor room which was fab which had loads of room for my family the only thing we were told by hotel often the tour operator does not tell you you have to upgrade to these rooms if we were told we would of at time of booking i have payed the extra, i have now noticed it has been added to the online brochure you can upgrade to these 2 bed family rooms.the staff were good with my family, the only thing was the food. not the best hotel for the food we were there 2 weeks and found it hard we lived off salad but got sick of that, the hotel in oct has alot of the older client staying and often got looks from people as if we should not of been there but it does say family hotel. the location was fab we have been to benidorm many times and liked the hotel only the food needs to be changed a little and it would be fantastic.
we stayed in the hotel for 10 days and it was amazing. The reception staff where very helpful and so were teh bar staff and the cleaners. the pools were great, the only problem was that people went down really early and put there towls on them and then went out for the day and came back late afteernoon and had a quick lie in the sun that wasn't really a problem for us because we just went out for the day and then had a rest in the afternoon. the food was great there wasn't really a problem with eating we loved the food. overall the whole holiday was great and so wa sthe hotel! i would defenitly go back to this hotel.
we have been to benidorm a dozen times & different hotels. we really enjoyed our stay in ambassador 2 it was so handy for the nite life right outside the front doors & would certainly have no hesitation in booking up again if the price is right
